## Overview

The EOM-POS BT-100U USB Trigger connects RJ11/RJ12 cash drawers directly to Windows PCs via USB, bypassing the need for a receipt printer. It uses a virtual serial port driver to ensure compatibility with existing POS software, delivering reliable, plug-and-play cash drawer control optimized for Windows 10, with additional setup for Windows 11.

## Description

BT-100U cash drawer trigger is designed to provide USB interfacing to the cash drawer. This allows the cash drawer, which is previously connected to POS printer or cash register, to be directly connected to a USB port of the computer. This means through the USB Trigger the cash drawer can be directly connected to the computer when this no printer used in the POS system. The BT-100U USB trigger module uses a virtual serial port driver, making it appear to software like a standard RS232 serial port. This way existing POS software can communicate with the USB cash drawer trigger as though connected to a serial port.

**Q: My pos software asks for a drawer open command, what is it?**
A: The drawer open command is for when the drawer is connected to a printer. When using this USB adapter, any command will work. You just need to set the POS software to use the correct COM port. For more help, contact EOM-POS at 224-366-7671
