Seriously this little guy is a beast and almost has too much power for it's size.... almost. I find myself ignoring my XR hammer drill and choosing this one for even the toughest jobs now. **Q: Can you use the 60v Flexvolt battery with this drill?**
A: Yes, Flexvolt batteries are compatible with Dewalt 60v and 20v tools and can be charged by 60v or 20v Dewalt chargers.

**Q: 120 240 volt**
A: It is 120v. It is not recommended by the manufacturer DEWALT to use an adapter or transformer in order to force to work on a 240v connection.

**Q: does this work well and have good control for driving screws into wood and softer materails?**
A: This tool has excellent control for both drilling and driving. This tool is tough and will outlive your love for it. I only offer one caution: When the trigger is released the chuck brake is intense and often releases whatever bit it is holding. If you are a person who compulsively clicks tongs twice every time you pick them up, you probably do the same thing with a cordless drill. Your bits will fall out before you are able to use them. Get the impact driver, the bit can't fall out.  Or if you require the versatility of an actual drill try the Makita.  I have and use both brands.

What can I say. I’m a DIY guy. My last purchase was a Dewalt 14V kit drill, circular saw, sawsall and light. Except for a battery replacement it lasts close to 20 years!! I replaced the batteries close to 10 years ago and decided to upgrade to a 20V brushless and my first thought was why did I wait. This drill is compact, ergonomic and a charge seems to last forever. I’m very pleased
