The sanding on the sole edges looked unfinished and rough. The leather welt where it meets the heel rand was not cut even. Remidied with sandpaper and a razor blade. Oh, one of the speed hooks was super sharp and I had to use a small file to keep it from shedding laces. I also added kilties and some older laces I had laying around to change the look. Overall, very satisfied for them being on sale.
