shipping was very fast. the glass jars are just what I was looking for. the 540ml size is perfect - wouldn't go any smaller. I use mine with a reusable metal straw, however I don't find it uncomfortable to drink straight from the jar. great quality - nothing to fault

Do not buy this poorly described product for use with boiling water
If, like me, you appreciate a boiled beverage with your breakfast, you may have been tempted to purchase one of these mugs to have a large serve (500+ml!!), rather than going back for a second brew.Nowhere in the description here on Amazon does the product advise "Do not pour boiling liquids into this mug". I checked the description again after receiving the mug and observing the warning on the leaflet (image attached) that came with the mug.This warning is clearly embossed on the mug itself (second image), but the image of the mug here on Amazon, at least for this seller, only shows the front, ie the Kilner brand mark. The warning is on the back of the mug. You would think such an important warning would warrant a second image of said warning. The seller clearly thought otherwise.IMO this is deception by omission, and as I bought the mug exclusively for my morning brew, am rating this item as a 1 star as 0 stars are not possible. I have no use for a mug bought exclusively for boiling water beverages that cannot be filled with boiling water.The second review of this item - at the time of me writing this review - simply says "shattered the first time i used it. a waste of money". I am wondering now if this purchaser did not see the warning and paid the price? Regardless, heed the warning I am providing now.
