These tool strips work OK but I’m ambivalent about this product for the following reasons:Pro:- relatively cheap- magnets hold certain tools well like cone wrenches for bicycles and smaller adjustable wrenches. Will hold 1/4 inch ratchets but not 3/8 ratchets due to their weight- easy to install - I used zip ties for my purposes on my bicycle tool cartCon:- Not good for screwdrivers because they inevitably slide to a 45 degree angle and/or fall off- the labels won’t come off- they won’t stick to metal from the backside. I was hoping I could just slap them on my steel bicycle tool cart but I had to zip tie them in place.For $5 each, they work OK. Was I amazed at their performance? No. Will I keep them? Yea - because they serve my purposes. Hope that helps!

Great strength!

What I like best is that these bars screwinto the wall so are very safe. Many more beautiful magnetic bars simply hang on to screws in the walls so are not as sturdy. I also like these short bars because I can mount them in small places such as over my jeweler's bench. They are inexpensive so if given as gifts, will not obligate the receiver. They are good quality for the price.

I ended up having to buy a "heavy duty" magnet to hold my tapes... 20lb pull force worked much better!Pros:Come in various sizes, easy to mount (2 screws on either end), I like that they came with boots that connect them and mask the screw holes, they will hold things like allen wrenches, small screwdrivers, screws, sockets, etc.Cons:These will not hold a tape measurer. Magnet is not as strong as I hoped

These hanging magnets are the most flexible wall storage system i have found, namely becuase they accomondate so easily additional tools, or perhaps entirely switching out say chisels for screwdrivers. in addition, installation is two screws - hard to complain about. For the first time in years, i have my entire collection of loose allen keys arranged for easy access. For screwdrivers, you likely need to use two parallel bars, as the round stem of a screwdriver does not secure well in a perpendicular fashion - needs another anchor to hold it vertically with the handle up, otherwise it rolls to the side on the magnetic. You can put them upside down on one, with the handle down, but looks a little weird, and to get the most on there, it is nice to stagger handles up and down a bit - or stagger sizes, and it helps to have two to do that.
