pretty amazing!!
Great value, colourful, perfect for babies and toddlers. It's also very sturdy- my son has downs syndrome and often throws this and most toys(!!!) across the room and this toy has barely a mark on it and every animal still pops up. Very impressed with this.

Great pop up toy, very durable
This was a much loved toy of my son's and since he has grown the creche I work in now have this and it is much loved there too, and considering we have had this for years now apart from a couple of scuffs it's still going strong

Fun and educational, little bit flimsy
This is a great toy for teaching about object permanence. I purchased this for my daughter who was around 9 months at the time. Not long after playing with this toy she stopped crying whenever I left the room and I’m sure it’s because she was grasping the concept that I wasn’t going to disappear forever! The toy is great fun should last out a while. Some of the opening buttons are a bit too tricky for babies under a year but they can still have a good bash with their hands.Unfortunately after a month of use some of the animals got “stuck” and I had to free them out after a bit of opening up and investigating. For the price I would perhaps have expected this toy to be a bit sturdier.

simple but brilliant
My 2 year old and a 4 year old love this and it arrived very quickly. I placed the order on wednesday and it arrived early morning on friday. They both love this and I may have to buy another as they argue over it. It is a very simple toy but the children love it and thats all that matters.

It's okay, but difficult for young babies
I bought it for my 5 month old after he enjoyed playing with a similar Fisher Price toy of his cousin's, even though this toy is listed as being suitable from 12 months for some reason - a 12 month old may still enjoy playing with this, but I don't think they'd have much more use out of it - I've seen similar toys being recommended as suitable from 6 months which I think is more appropriate.POSITIVES:- It's colourful and eye catching for baby- It helps baby's motor skills/grasp- It helps baby to learn about cause and effect (e.g. if they push the button, the sheep pops up)- It can also be used as a basic learning aid for colours, numbers and animals as each of the pop up sections is a different colour, has a number from 1-4 on the top and 'pops' a different animal.- It's a good tummy time toy - I put my baby on his prop roll pillow and put this toy in front of him, and it keeps him entertained messing with the buttons- I like that this has four different farm animals (the Fisher Price one had 4 very similar alien type creatures), and they are similar to real life colours of the animals (so a black and white cow rather than a pink and green one, for example!), rather than random bright colours as it helps with teaching baby about them. A few people have asked whether the animals make animal noises and they don't - they just pop up with quite a loud click, but the fact that they're animals means it's fun to make the noises for baby when they pop up, and hopefully when he's older he can join inNEGATIVES:- The buttons are quite loose but difficult to push down. Baby has to whack them quite hard to get the animal to pop up. My baby finds it quite difficult to do on his own, but could do the Fisher Price one. It will probably get easier for him as he gets older, though. The twist button to pop up the horse is particularly tricky for him, as another reviewer found- The colours are different to the ones pictured in the listing - which isn't a problem, but the colours of the stickers with the animals on annoy me slightly. For example, number 1/the cow has a blue button, blue pop up flap and blue animal sticker. Number 2/the horse has a green button, green pop up flap and green sticker. So they all match. But then 3 and 4 are different for some reason. The sheep has a pink button and flap but yellow sticker and the dog has an orange button and flap but pink sticker - not a major issue at all, but it's annoying that it's not uniform.- The buttons aren't different enough - there's two that baby has to push/whack (numbers 1 and 3) and 2 that baby has to twist/turn (numbers 2 and 4). It would be better to have a pull/slide as well, which the Fisher Price one had, or something different.- The cost - at £12.99 it's expensive for a bit of cheap plastic and I'm sure that similar toys are available much cheaper in 'bargain' stores

Screw Danger
After my 6month old played with this for not even 3 weeks a screw broke off and came out in her playpen and she rolled on it and it hurt her and made her cry, but what was worst was if I had not been supervising her she might have put it in her mouth and choked..... The screw broke off and was sharp not just that it came unscrewed. I would suggest avoiding this shoddy product. To be honest it was not as good quality in general as I had thought for 9.99. Thought they might make a noise when popped up they don't and the 2 spin buttons are not easy to spin for animals to pop up especially for a baby.

Not great.
To get the pop up bits to go back down you have to press them very hard, not that easy for a baby to do.Feels quite cheap and flimsy.
