I love the options of 1 cup or a full pot. The coffee is nice and hot and there are so many features like changing the heat on the plate that keeps the pot warm. It also looks nice on my counter. It's very easy to use. The only issue I had was the pod side would not work at first so I got on YouTube and it showed a button behind where the arrow for the pod is. You have to push it a few times and loosen it up and then it works. I didn't see anything in the booklet about that. It's very easy to clean and easy to put back together. I got the dark Grey metal and I just love it. Review: Do not buy! - We enjoy the craft side of this coffee machine. We have had major issues with the pod side. Each time we use it, since the first time, it overflows and grounds get all in the cup of coffee and also all in and around the machine. It is a pain to clean the grounds out of the machine because no parts come out to clean, you just have to wipe inside and around until all the grounds are gone, this is very time consuming. Also when I contacted Cuisinart customer service I do not think their return policy is fair. They want me to cut the cord to the machine, take a picture of this, send back the machine and then wait 2 weeks for the replacement, therefore we would be without a coffee pot for two weeks because they sell a faulty product? If I have to go out and get a new coffee pot I’m going to buy a new one and not waste 200$ on one that doesn’t work well. I asked if they could charge me for the new one, ship it and then refund me when they get my broken one back, so we can use the craft side in the mean time, so we don’t have to be without one. They told me no, and I will have to go without and wait for the replacement. Seems strange, I asked why they operate this way and they responded, “we have alot of fraud and don’t trust customers to return the products”. It holds just enough coffee for 1 cup. It can be emptied, rinsed out and reused. **Q: Does it use any brand single serve pod** A: Mine does not have a needle in the bottom to break through a pod. So now whenever I try to make a single cup either from ground coffee in the refillable pod or a K-Cup pd, it makes a terrible noise and the lights for all three sizes of single cups blink and I have to turn it off to clear that. Now the only working part is the full pot. No problem until I inserted a K-cup (Trader Joe's brand) where no puncture was made for the water to flow through the bottom of the pod into a mug.
