This replacement pump will also include the power adapter as well, and is designed for use with US/Canadian power outlets. **Q: I have a drinkwell platinum. Mine still works but it on flows at a trickle. Whats wrong with it?** A: 1) I would make sure the flow control handle is all the way to the right for maximum flow. 2) I would clean the strainer in front of the pump inlet. 3) I would disassemble and clean the pump to make sure the pump inlet is clean from cat hair and other dirty particles. If the flow is still a trickle, there could be something wrong with the pump itself, in which case it needs replacement. Bough it, replaced the bad pump, and it is still working. This was a couple of months ago.
