The Cougar Minos X5
First time using Cougar, just wanted to give a quick write up.Pros:-Lightweight-Rubber Cable-No rattle-Tactile and firm scroll wheel-Easy spam clicks-Rubber flanks feel grippy-Nice packaging - nothing to do with the mouse but appreciate it- Extra pair of mouse skatesNeutral:-Front sides flare out, feels interesting for your index finger. My hand is large at 19.8cm length so may feel better for smaller hands-Mouse skates are ok, haven't really broken them in yetCons:-Inconsistent 2000hz (to be expected though)-Inconsistent actuation feeling between thumb buttons, front one feels more tactile while rear feels softer.. not a deal breakerBugs:While the PC is off, if you click the mouse buttons the LEDs will turn on.Overall it's quite a solid mouse and definitely something I can recommend to claw grippers. I've never used a Cougar mouse before so I'm quite impressed with it all around. This should break them into the FPS scene even if only the niche users but they did pretty much everything very well. Happy with the product and don't feel ripped off or like it's going to have QC issues. I'm going to continue gaming with it for a while and see how it holds up. Will update the review if necessary. Give it a shot!

Not worth your money.
I liked the mouse for a day, perfect shape, perfect size, very comfortable. However, it worked for 1 day. Installed the drivers everything was great. Shutdown the computer, and it suddenly didn't work. Took it apart to figure out what was wrong, and nothing was wrong except maybe the motherboard got shorted out or something i don't know. Computer would recognize the mouse and knew what the mouse was, told me the name and everything, but the mouse would not work. Went through all the troubleshooting processes and nothing fixed it. Tried it on multiple computers, they all knew what the mouse was, but it didn't work on any of them. Decided to just call it a loss since i already took it apart, i can't return it. It was nice for the one day it worked. DO NOT BUY!.

After 6 months
I use this mouse for with the AWP in CS:GO. When I got this mouse I was DMG, I have recently ranked up to Supreme and on track to Global Elite Master by the end of this year.Performance:The mouse has good size/weight-ratio and contours for a finger-tip grip if you have a large hand. Mine is 19.5cm from base to index tip. Otherwise, it is great for claw/hybrid (which I would imagine most people use anyway). The cable is relatively thin and flexible and doesn't get in the way of AWP shots. The 2000Hz tracking makes for amazing flick shots, (however I would say you would need a 120Hz monitor to take advantage of this). The DPI settings allows you to set specific precision, which is useful if you have OCD and need your in game sensitivity to be a clean number.Aesthetics:I would say the lighting is unique. I have never seen a mouse with a dual-lighting transition ability which the logo seems to do. I have mine set to do loops between purple/blue. I have had no issues with the scroll wheel. I would say it is on par with other mice like the DeathAdder elite, and much better than the G502.After 6 months:My issues with the software have been resolved. Previously it would not save my DPI, however, after a firmware update this issue was fixed.I have had no other hardware issues.

Corsair katar to cougar minos
Was using a Corsair katar and switch to this mouse. Weight similar and feels similar. I still need to get used to the feel since it's slightly heavier. Software is worst than Corsair, when trying to remap the key there is no option of holding the key, once you press it on your mouse it only sends it once even when I hold the button. This is a problem since I remap the dpi to my voice comm and the software has no easy way in my knowledge to hold the button except for telling the software to repeat the button press which is not really good since I would cut out for a second.

Doesn't quite fit hand, almost, but no cigar.
Bottom 1/3 of mouse was "too wide" for me, not as bad as some others, likely could have lived with it, but I ended up having to go with a Logitech G302, though prefer the bottom 1/3 width size/design of the Logitech G300s, but it's center width is too small, so had to settle for the G302.Other than this issue, the mouse seemed good....

Real 2000hz polling rate
Great shape if you are coming from a Logitech G305 or small form mouse. The polling rate of 2000hz seems to be more precise for me. If your computer is already struggling to keep up in certain games this mouse might make that worse. A 2000hz polling rate will task your CPU more.

Similar to Minos X3
I use to have the minos x3 so i decided to upgrade on the same type of mouse since the dimensions are similar. Feels great on my hand, just like the x3 and i like how you can change the led colors and DPI on your mouse all from the software you have to download on to your pc/laptop. Recommended if you have used the x3.

My most favorite mouse but not reliable
11 months after buying this mouse and it started double clicking and the button to change DPI fixed on one setting. This mouse is so comfortable, coming from a previous razer user, this mouse is the best I've ever owned. But I just can't give it a review if the mouse breaks. The double clicking is so annoying

Good mouse but some buttons broke in less than a year so bad mouse!
Side button broke in less than a year. Tried contacting the manufacturer for the 1 year warranty but no reply. Guess the warranty is only there to look good and not real.

Love it!
After my first one developed a fault in it's fourth year in use with the Left Click button, I scoured the world desperately to find another. Wish this was not discontinued, such a great mouse!!! =( But grateful I got one of the last, if not the last for sale. Fingers crossed when this one passes away there will be something comparable on the market (as currently there is not)
