Thinner than I expected
First cover got lost in shipping (not the reason for the review, I know shipping is a challenge). Amazon sent a replacement very quickly BUT while unfolding it to put on pool one of the folds was stuck to the other side, I gently pulled them apart but just as I expected it ripped. Thankfully it was within 10” of the edge. In the description it called this cover rugged but I do not consider it rugged. Not completely happy with the cover but keeping it because we really needed to get pool covered again, sunlight was causing algae to grow. Hopefully we can get a couple years out of the cover after taping the tear, we usually only get about three years out of a cover anyway.

Not worth it
Our first cover lasted 2 years. This is the 2nd one I’ve purchased and we haven’t even made it thru the off season and it’s ripped in multiple places. Going to have to open the pool early to avoid a green pool with debris that will be impossible to clean.

Buy this yearly. Price increased a lot
I've been buying this same cover for the last 5 years. I would say they can last up to 2 years. But its not worth me drying out, folding and storing every year. Each year they hold up for the entire winter. This year the price increased quite a bit (I guess inflation! Thanks JB). Was a bit more over sized then normal which was a nice surprise since I drain 1/4 of water out of my pool and dont use a bubble.I use this cover and cover clips and it holds the whole season without issue.I never used the cord and clamp that comes with it.

Not the best quality
Just bought last fall and it has weathered and ripped already..

Decent cover
This is a pool cover for an above ground pool - not much to say. It’s generously sized, which makes installation easy. It’s not an eye sore. And it’s cheap. However you will likely only get one winter out of the cover. But honestly I’ve paid twice as much for supreme covers, and they didn’t last either. Is it the harsh Bew England winters? I don’t know. But if I can expect only one winter for a pool cover, this does the trick. It’s cheap and easy to install.

Ok pool cover
**Update: I’m shocked, but it did indeed survive a windy Missouri winter without ripping so I’m giving it another star. It’s definitely NOT water proof so pool water and rain water have mingled, and the cover has sunk on one end where some leaves gathered but it was oversized enough that it staying in place using the included cable and clips I purchased separately. I haven’t taken it off yet so I’m not sure how much of the gross water on top has filtered into the pool but if it’s not too bad I will probably buy this again since it’s cheap enough to be a “one year & throw it away” cover. **This cover is about the thickness of a leaf & lawn trash bag. I thought I’d try a cheaper cover & plan on replacing it each year but I have my doubts that this one will survive until spring! There’s definitely no way it would ever last 8 years!

Make sure your ground is level and hard,
Pool is great and roomy. Biggest downfall is the winter cover does not fit at all so we had to buy a different one from someone else.

Good quality for the price.
We have not seen it through a winter yet, but its good quality and holding strong on our old pool. So I have to give it a 4 star since we don't know how it will hold up to wind and winter weather.

Fits perfectly
It is exactly as described. After cleaning and emptying the pool below outtake, my adult daughter and i put it on in about 1 hour.I put the cable through the grommets before we started.I also padded the sunblanket cones to keep them from ripping the cover from friction before starting. Not being terribly handy, we figured out the "ratchet" for the cable. Hint - pull everything tight around the pool while holding the cable's loose ends, then cut off most of the excess cable before putting it in the ratchet to tighten and close.I also weighed mine down with bungees and water filled jugs attached to the grommits and cables to secure for blustery storms. This will be the first winter for this cover, so we'll see next May how durable it was.

Not worth it
This cover didnt fit my pool to begin with the length was way to long and the width was right on which caused the side to sink when snow came and sat on the middle of the pool. Maybe they sent the wrong size but im pretty sure the package said 15x30. And i ordered the right size. I tried moving the tarp in different directions and it didnt fit right. The rings were all torn up after 1 year so a 8 year warranty doesnt matter i want something that wont cave in and tear with the weight of snow because druring the winter i was worried that was going to happen. I recommend putting 30-40 dollars more i to a blue poly tarp that is significantly bigger then the pool because i have had 2 of these tarps and not sure how they have an 8 year guarantee unless i read it wrong.

This is a 1-year quality-grade cover--warranty card sentence 1 indicates that-- Cover ok otherwise!
Product is acceptable as a 1-year quality cover. I have purchased over a dozen covers in the past year and generally I can confirm the quality to be light-duty with a life expectancy of year before serious degradation occurs. They do meet sizing details, however, warranty would be cost-prohibitive in my case. Expect 1-year and you should be fine. I installed my last one in April 2019 and blue-coating is breaking down and can be seen in snow around cover--this means cover with be beginning to "crumble" in the near future. Buy accordingly :)

Lasted two years
The first year we used this product there was no issue with it. The second year after we opened the pool, we noticed a lot of particles in the water. These particles were from the cover falling apart and ending up in the water. Cleaning the pool out the second year with all the tiny plastic was a mess. Otherwise, it did the job. It is a one-year product. Don't expect a multi-year use.

This only lasted ONE YEAR before breaking down.
I’m not sure how they can claim this is an eight year pool cover. We used it for one season and it started disintegrating. This is our second season and it’s garbage. We’ll see if they honour the eight year warranty but I have to pay to ship to Illinois for MAYBE a 50% refund. No more Blue Wave covers for me!!
