It does not separate like some body scrubs do. I have used scrubs that are half liquid/oil and the scrub is all at the bottom. Not the case here. The consistency is spot on. 3. The scent is my absolute favorite. Very relaxing and a good way to destress at the end of the day. I have purchased so many of these scrubs both here and at the local store that I can't even keep track. There is a lot in the jar and it's a great price for the quality.
