OneSpace Freeley Folding Computer Desk, Black

I spent a great amount of time researching different types of desks, and quickly after receiving this order, I knew I had made a great choice.I was looking for specific characteristics: price, light weight, durable, not cheap board or glued fake board, good size but not overwhelming, tiered keyboard shelf and bottom shelf, easy to move, and most importantly, can be folded up and stored or can be easily hauled when moving.This desk met each and every one of my requirements. I move a lot, and I wanted something that was not going to be a nightmare to move and haul, especially if I was dealing with stairs. The surface is easily cleaned, so nothing absorbs or stairs since it is a black surface. I also really like the black/silver look of the desk. The bottom shelf is indented a little, so when sitting at the desk, you have room for your feet.I love that this came already assembled, all I needed to do was screw on the bottom feet and then it folded to position. I have moved it to 3 different rooms because of rearranging for change, and it was easy to work with.I highly recommend this desk. It is great quality and durable for the price. I could see myself purchasing a second one of these..

Gave up a big cabinet with shelves and drawers that I bought when I got my first PC. Now with the laptop less space is needed and this computer station fits the need. It's also handy when we travel in the motorhome. It folds easy and quickly, holds the laptop, printer, small lamp and a ream or two of paper. It's NOT a piece of furniture - it's a functional piece designed to hold a computer and components, and it doesit very well. Good quality, well thought-out piece. You know you need this!

Great desk. Sturdy. Holds my 27" iMac just fine. Came assembled as other users stated so that was very nice indeed. We only had a little space between our coach and the wall so it was nice to have this fit but also collapse if we wanted to get rid of it for a party or something though we haven't done that.There is 2 cons. The first is if you do plan on putting a printer on the bottom shelf as in the picture its a little awkward. The tray juts out and hits me in the shins therefore I cannot pull myself real close to the desk as I often do.The second Con is the styling. Not much to look at. If I didn't think I needed to be able to collapse and move it I might look for one with better styling that was meant to be somewhat 'permanent'To me these are minor downsides hence the loss of only 1 star.

My requirements for a desk were that 1. It needed to be big enough for a laptop and then for a book or two 2. all of it should be fold able 3. easily portable to carry it up and down the stairs 4. reasonably priced. After looking at this desk and comparing it with the Origami desk, decided to go with this for 2 reasons, this folds fully without having to remove the top and it was smaller. The package arrived yest much before the scheduled time...thank you Amazon. It took me 5 min to open it, pull out the desk, unfold it, clean it and exclaim that it is perfect and I love it. That simple. The package is a box that fits the folded desk so all I had to do was tear up the tape and remove the few foam pieces that were in it. Unfolding the desk was just like opening a book....it clicked in to place with little effort. Then I folded it back up by following the instruction and it was back in to the shape it came in the pkg. We have already used it for 4 hrs straight with a 17 inch laptop that is old and tends to get heated. The desk top has handled the heat well...the bottom of the desk feels just a tad bit warm after 2 hrs but nothing to make me feel uncomfortable. I am 5'4 and the height is just right for me. My husband is 5'11 and he has to stretch out his legs under or above the bottom section of the table to sit comfortably. We are using a regular folding chair but the desk is short enough to use even while sitting forward on a sofa.The overall quality of the product is good. The top has already seen coffee mugs and breakfast plates and the surface seems to be sturdy to handle daily use of these and other such things. One of the leg has a small little scratch which was only found as we inspected it thoroughly. The table is a bit wobbly and bothered us enough that we put a piece of cardboard under one of the legs which fixed that problem. We both have tried to use it by having 2 laptops on either side and it was fine related to both space and stability. It was easy to carry it up and down the stairs as well. It is good value for the price.This product met all my requirements...even the nice-to-have's. We can see many more uses for it even during the holidays. I would recommend this desk as it saves space and it gives you a comfortable place to sit and use a laptop without having a home office.The only way this could have been even better is if this was made for laptops with out the dual levels and the base board and had extendable legs :).
