So my husband bought another one of these for his computer, different brand for 3x as much $$, just because this one looked puny compared to the others with like antennas and stuff. I took a chance and bought this one. It works great! just the same as the one he got that was so much more expensive. We have google fiber and get wifi speeds in the 250's constantly. Would def recommend.

**Update Aug 15: After not even having this product for 5 months, it's already stopped working. The device heats up, then completely loses its USB connection to my laptop and I cannot restart it without pulling it out of the port, allowing it to cool and putting it back in. Have to downgrade my review from 4 stars to 1 star, given the obvious quality and longevity issues. I can no longer recommend it. It's too bad, too, because it really works. Using the default wifi on my MacBook Air, I typically get download speeds of about 80 Mbps (I have 400 Mbps cable service). With this device, I've gotten as high as 427 Mbps.**Previous review: This product would be a 5-star if it didn't always disconnect itself whenever my MacBook Air screen sleeps or when I get timed out. I'm assuming this isn't the fault of the product itself but rather the USB port - but it's very annoying to have to wait the 15-20 seconds for the device to reconnect to my wireless network each time.

This and its downloadable driver (there's also a little CD included) worked right out of the box on my Mac Airs, so no complaints at all. I used it first on Yosemite (Mac OS) and then El Capitan. I understand it also works on Sierra. May even work on the latest, High Sierra, though I haven't tested it for that and the adapter isn't yet rated for that. I can't say it works appreciably faster on my wifi than my older USB device, so I'm sticking with the old device for now (it's smaller) and the new driver. I'm probably limited by my local wifi speed and system bus. It's the driver itself that really shines, I think; much less wonky than the built-in Apple wifi or the older USB driver I was using.

I have several HP Touchsmart 300 AIO PCs and the WIFI capability needed upgraded. This was the perfect WIFI Adapter for the job. These computers now have dual band capability and work perfectly compared to the original installed HP WIFI Adapter. This WIFI Adapter fits perfectly in the HP Keyboard/Mouse location on the back of the AIO PC with a Logitech Keyboard/Mouse micro adapter (replacing the HP Keyboard/Mouse Adapter) plugged into one of the 3 USB ports on the back of the AIO PC...Performance is outstanding...

Very compact, but sturdy. I run Windows 10 and didn't even need to install additional drivers, although the seller sent a link to the drivers as soon as I ordered, just in case. Had it up & running in a matter of minutes. Out of curiosity, I speed-tested my old adapter (TP Link AC 450) before installing the Seeknet. My AC 450 gave me Ping:11, Download 190 / Upload 126. The new Seeknet AC1300 a few moments later tested at Ping: 10, Download 405/Upload 351. I notice immediately how quickly web pages load, and files download. Really great adapter, especially for the price.

It works well. One challenge: The driver for mac comes on a mini-CD that jammed the CD-ROM. Finding the driver online is not easy: doesn't come up on google search. The link is on the PC side of the instruction sheet but not on the Mac side. It took hours to download from the site (literally) on a high speed connection. Once downloaded, however, it works great.

My desktop's Wi-Fi quit working, so I took a chance and bought this dongle. My Wi-fi actually works better now. It comes with an installation do disc, and the seller emailed me instructions as soon as I bought it, however; there was no need for either. I just plugged it in and connected. Can't recommend it enough.

Did not connect to the WiFi with the 100 Mb/sec I expected. I have another AC MU-MIMO adapter that connects at greater than 100 Mb/sec. This one was in the 20-30 Mb/sec range.

I really liked this product at first but then it overheated and quit working. The outside plastic cover came off of the adapter exposing the electronics. Not safe at all!

Stopped working after 6 weeks. Not detecting any wifi network.

Works as described. No complaints.

Plug-and-play worked perfectly on the Windows 7 machine that I purchased this for. With my N600 router, online gaming from a room on a different floor works just fine.

Driver not good. Need to disconnect and reconnect after using for a while or doable. Otherwise will not connect to internet. Quality below average.

Works just as I expected and as promised for a very reasonable price.

Works fine for 2.4ghz. 5ghz drops network after a day or so and you need to unplug it and replug it.

Product did not work with linux software as advertised. It was very difficult to find the company's website to even download the usb adapter driver. Junk do not buy.
