Anker Astro 6700mAh Ultra-Compact Premium Portable Charger, 2nd Generation External Battery Power Bank, with Fast Charging PowerIQ Techonology

I have bought 4 or 5 of these 6700mAh Anker Astro's, and for the most part, they are fantastic! I still carry one or two of them on me at all times. I've had them for well over a year now, they work fantastically still, hold their charge great, and charge my phone incredibly fast (paired with an Anker Powerline+ cable). It's the perfect size to drop in your pocket with your cellphone on your way out the door. These guys have kept my phone alive a countless number of times when I was going out. On a full charge, they will revive my Galaxy S6 about 1.5 times.However, of the handful I have bought, I did have to send two of them back to Amazon. Both of them had problems with the LED indicator / powering on. Typically it's very sensitive, and will activate the light at the slightest bump (it's motion activated). The two I sent back though took a VERY large amount of force to trigger the LED light, and if you didn't trigger the LED when you plug your phone into it, the device would not power on and charge your phone. I assume they were just dud's or something. Both I sent back were white ones as well, but that very well may have been coincidence.Overall, these are fantastic portable chargers, and you can never go wrong with an Anker product.

UPDATED (AGAIN) and UPGRADED - Turns out I had a defective unit. Anker contacted me and sent me a new unit. I've been using it for over 2 months now and it works exactly as expected. Customer service was excellent and they went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with my purchase. I wish more companies stood behind their products like this.UPDATED and DOWNGRADED to add that I cannot even get a full charge for my phone with this model and the bar status system is unreliable. I plugged my phone in last night while the unit was showing 4 bars of charge left. Not even a minute later there were no bars left.I ordered this as a replacement for a previous model that was stolen. It's handy to have and I can get about 1.5 full charges for my phone if necessary. The only thing that I don't like is that this model seems to heat up more than the other when discharging.

Loved this product at first. Battery pack was perfect for fitting into my purse and keeping my phone charged, however after a few months of use I noticed that the battery pack itself wasn't holding charge well and would typically be empty when I'd go to use it - even after charging it earlier that day to bring along with me. Additionally the cable that came with this charger broke after only a few month and I replace it with another, similiar one that worked well. Now the cable works, but the charger itself will not hold any charge! Overall I would not recommend this product and I would not buy again. It's a shame because I like Anker products but it doesn't seem to hold up as well.Update: I received an email from Anker stating that the product I received was faulty and that they "stand behind their products(18 month warranty), however I am no longer under that warranty". First of all, I am only one month shy of the 18-month warranty, so that alone would typically be enough for a company to honor the warranty. Secondly, if Anker is admitting that the product the sent me is "faulty", they should stand behind the product regardless of how long it's been or what the warranty is. A faulty product is a faulty product and by Anker not making this right they are not standing behind their product at all. I attempted to call the customer service number and gave my ticket number to the rep, however she put me on hold and ultimately hung up on me. I've attempted to call back several times afterwards and continue to get hung up on once placed on hold. The customer service for Anker is astonishing and if I had known this product would be so useless I never would've wasted my time and money on it. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND!

So far so good. Charges my Iphone very quickly. Quality of Anker prevails.You might find a better price on some other options but Anker uses LG batteries so I'd rather spend a little more to get batteries I can put a little more trust into.Will be extensively testing this in my trip to NYC. I purposely bought this size because it's still light enough for travel yet doubles the next size down in power. Very lightweight.Shake the device to see the power indicator ring light up. It's set in 4 increments, 25% for each notch in the ring. Not a perfect measurement but better than not knowing at all. Also read the shaking can occur when moving it around in a bag or walking. Yes, it will but it takes 100,000 shakes to lose less than 1% of your battery. I got blue just to make it easier to find in a bag when travelingI'm looking to get involved in the Amazon Vine program. So far the quality is good and solid but the white didn't last to long because mine started to turn this rust orange color....hmmm come to think about it I wonder if thats not a sign for bad things to come.....O'man now that idea has me paranoid it might blown while i'm sleeping and burn the house down with me in it........nahhhhhh who am i kidding, I'll probably be using it to watch late night youtube mind melting documentaries about yogurt strawberries hemp pudding for adults (side note I made that up) but you get the picture this thing works good I get 2 full charges on my iPhone Plus 7.
