The largest single-engine fighter of World War II, more than 15,000 were produced and it was the most numerous and one of the most successful US fighter aircraft. The P-47 appeared on the fronts in Europe, Africa, the Far East and the Pacific. Due to its size, the Thunderbolt was affectionately called "Jug". It was short for "Juggernaut," meaning big truck. A lot better quality than I expected *by W***R on January 2, 2026* My little brother likes it ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very cleverly constructed set *by W***S on September 9, 2023* I own several Cobi sets, primarily WWII planes. As usual, parts are high quality and fit well with very nice looking prints.. This is definitely one of the more cleverly constructed sets though. Nothing required an unusual amount of dexterity and the wing configuration was way sturdier than other Cobi models (I'm looking at you, F4F). Was very enjoyable to put together. Looks great on display. Still haven't had any missing parts from any Cobi sets. Only gripe is with the chosen livery.
