Expensive and dangerous
The design idea is good and you pay for quality (with rather heavy stainless steel) - but I didn't get it! After just a few uses one of the handles came loose and the pressure release valve failed to pressurise effectively, emitting a constant jet of steam instead of closing. This is dangerous as (apart from delaying the cooking) it reduced the water levels inside and risked burning the contents. I was expecting far better quality and durability at this price. Also, watch out - the small handles are inevitably close to the heat and can become very hot and easily burn you.If it actually worked as intended it would have been good as it is fairly unique in offering multi-purpose functionality with a separate lid as saucepan or oven dish. Unfortunately my expectations were quickly dashed.

I liked the size how I imagined it
I liked the size how I imagined it, it looks good and cooks perfectly to my satisfaction, I recommend to anyone who is looking to buy a pressure cooker, only one snag, to close the lid is complicated, however, got better with practice.

I Love Pressure Cooking!
Was expecting it to be good (it is Lakeland, after all) but it`s absolutely brilliant, and once you`ve got your mind around the difference in cooking style (hint, don`t think you can squeeze a medium size chicken in the pan to make chicken broth on your first attempt - when it says small chicken, it means it!) and the fact you have to add an extra couple of minutes to the cooking time due to the small size, the world is your oyster (or your homemade clam chowder - you decide).Love the fact it`s got handles on the side, as this makes it far easier to carry, and the locking mechanism is fantastic; also, no jiggling weight that I remember on Mum`s pressure cooker as a child, instead a tiny reddish ball that pops up once pressure is reached.Fantastic product and not only would I recommend it, I already have to colleagues.BTW, it doesn`t have the baskets that I remember from Mum`s, but purchased the Kitchen Craft Stainless Steel 23cm Collapsible Folding Steamer to go with it, and it`s brilliant. I`ve also purchased a couple of Kindle books for pressure cooking, and would definitely recommend America`s Test Kitchen`s Pressure Cooker Perfection Kindle Edition.
