That review included lots of other very popular mics, including the wonderful SM7B mic, which unfortunately was out of my price range. After hearing the output of the Wave DX, I knew I just had to get it so I put a bit aside and managed to get it soon afterwards. I wasn’t disappointed. The sound quality is amazing for this price point and actually gives the SM7B a run for its money. And that’s not just me saying it, I hooked it up with one to compare it with a local friend who had one and we found it difficult to tell the difference. So for podcasts or streaming, I’d highly recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top *by on Reviewed in Brazil 24 April 2026* Top ## Frequently Bought Together - Elgato Wave DX - Dynamic XLR Microphone, Cardioid Pattern, Noise Rejection, Speech optimised for Podcasting, Streaming, Broadcasting, No Signal Booster Required, Works with Any Interface, for Mac, PC - Elgato Wave XLR - Audio Mixer and 75 db Preamp for XLR Mic to USB-C, Control Interface with 48V Phantom Power, Tap-to-Mute, Digital Mixing Software for Streaming, Recording, Podcasting on Mac and PC - Elgato XLR Cable – Shielded Microphone Cable for Studio Recording and Live Production, Gold-Plated Pins, Male to Female, for Mic and Balanced Analog Line Levels, 10ft/3m --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/521800024-wave-dx-dynamic-xlr-microphone-warm-true-to-life-vocals](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/521800024-wave-dx-dynamic-xlr-microphone-warm-true-to-life-vocals) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
