The PH-F140XP, 140mm Premium fans with PWM functions from Phanteks is designed using the unique Maelstrom concept technology. PH-F140XP with PWM functions allows for speed adjustments, higher for performance and lower for silent operation. Bundled with many accessories, PH-F140XP also features 140mm mounting hole and is a great case/radiator fan upgrade option for users who want better airflow for their cases and radiators. The fans are designed to overcome high static pressure, blade deflection, and noise challenges. PH-F140XP's nine blades with MVB produces powerful yet silent downdraft airflow. With the UFB bearing, composed by MOSS and SSC systems, long lifespan and rotation stability are made possible. PH-F140XP is setting the new standard in performance and compatibility.

Phanteks never dissapoints!
I use it as a pull case top fan.Performance is excellent. With the mobo provided fan control software the fan operates at low speeds at normal status and is audible only above 1000rpms and only at full cpu/gpu load (exceeding a specific thermal threshold I have set). Below that speed you cannot hear it. Overall dropped the case temps (cpu, gpu, hdds etc.) by 3-4 degrees C approx.Package is full as you would expect from a Phanteks product with the usual speed limiter cable, an extension cable, 4 white anti-vibration plugs for installation and 4 screws (in case you don't want to use the white plugs but I found the latter difficult to screw so I chose the former and I wasn't disappointed). Installation with the anti-vibration plugs is a piece of cake and took less than a minute.Price wise it is a bit pricey but I guess it is what you pay for that quality. I bought it around 19 pounds and now sells at 22 which I consider extreme. If it was a couple pounds cheaper (closer to that Noctua Redux at 13-14 pounds) I would instantly buy another 3 pieces (one more for top pull fan and the two for front push fans to replace the one I have now).Overall satisfied if not for the price tag I would have given 6 stars!!!

Excellent case fans.
I have six of these fans in total on my computer case (coolermaster maker 5) 3 as front intake, 2 on the top and 1 at the rear. They are very quiet to the point I sometimes have to look twice to check my computer is on. Although quiet they do shift a lot of air to help keep all my components nice and cool.I have a x299 motherboard which has been criticised for high temperatures on the VRM. At normal load my VRM is usually around 25 to 30 degrees and under heavy load (intel cpu stress test) I have never seen the VRM exceed 40 degrees! That’s a very good result in my opinion. Also my GPU temps have lowered by around 8 degrees under stress (3D mark fire strike ultra) since installing these fans, so another significant success. Infact everything is significantly cooler in the case since installing theseThese fans are excellent value for money and have exceeded my expectations.

An excellent fan but price via Amazon is very erratic.
An excellent fan which is very much on a par with Noctua and far better looking. Runs quiet & smooth even under heavy load.Only gripe I have is that pricing sourced via Amazon seems very erratic . I bought for £15.95 two months ago - it's now priced at £21.78, whilst the 120mm version is currently over £25. So unless you are desperate to buy now it would probably pay to bide your time.

These are WAY better looking than Noctuas
These are WAY better looking than Noctuas, which I have also. The blades feel a lot better quality. Like their made of ceramic but they're not. They are probably quieter than the Noctuas too, at full speed (1200rpm+). All you hear is the sound of the large volume of air. No fan noises, no whining or anything. Just airflow sound.
