I have been wearing the same heavy plastic orthotics for years, but they just covered my arch, not the front of my foot and toes, whereas this arch support covered my whole foot. Decided to try these WalkHero for my wide feet with bunions and high arches. Right out of the box they felt great and offered support. They are relatively firm with a bit of cushioning, and do take up a more space inside my shoe over the standard insole. Have had them for over a month and holding up well. I had plantar fasciitis just before covid and I got some NB running shoes that helped, plus I did the exercises/stretches. I just started exercise walking again and after a month I felt that tinge in my left foot and knew it was coming back. The shoes are still great, just needed better insoles. I put them in and they fit great - I'm a 9.5 and the insole fit it was made for my shoes. I put them on and drove to the walking site inside a large mall, but I brought the old insoles with me just in case. It was uncomfortable at first, but after one lap (12 minutes) I knew I was going to get used to them, and I have. But the best news is, it stopped the foot pain within two trips to the mall.
