Review: UPDATE: Customer Service reached out - The wireless ability worked for a long time, then all of a sudden it just dropped midway through a drive last night. I have it set to the wireless capability by the SD card slot but to no avail. Upgraded the Mazda software to v74.000.324NA to see if that would fix it but still no luck. Wired works fine if I use a cable and set it. The bluetooth for the hub doesn’t appear at all now. Do yourself a favor and just buy the wired version. UPDATE: Customer service messaged me within 24 hours of this review and offered to send a replacement. I'll update this review as I see fit but overall they're a good seller.
Review: So far so good - I installed this in a 2017 Mazda CX-5 Touring. Everything came as described but it only included instructions on how to connect your phone to the unit after installation along with an image of which ends of the wires connect to the unit and the head unit. After looking at a few videos on YouTube I found one that gave simple instructions on how removing the old unit, run the wires under the console without removing everything and an easy way to access the head unit to plug it in. Overall it took maybe 30 minutes to install. So far the CarPlay is working great, the wireless connection takes a few seconds but after that it functions as it should. The touchscreen and command dials still work as well. I some reviews about losing the connection after a few months so we’ll see but so far so good.

The wireless ability worked for a long time, then all of a sudden it just dropped midway through a drive last night. I have it set to the wireless capability by the SD card slot but to no avail. Upgraded the Mazda software to v74.000.324NA to see if that would fix it but still no luck. Wired works fine if I use a cable and set it. The bluetooth for the hub doesn’t appear at all now. I installed this in a 2017 Mazda CX-5 Touring. Everything came as described but it only included instructions on how to connect your phone to the unit after installation along with an image of which ends of the wires connect to the unit and the head unit. The product does not work well at all. The screen continually locks up and goes black. You have to completely reconnect. The audio quality is also worse after the installation. Other things like the physical car controls lockup randomly. Highly disappointed and dissatisfied with this product and would not purchase it again. It’s not easy to uninstall and return so now I am stuck with rip off, malfunction equipment.
