LOVED this kit.
This was my second Bandai kit that I built. Had built the 1/72 X-Wing after receiving it as a gift and fell in love with the kits and knew I had to get the Falcon next. Took me about a week and a half to complete it and damn was it a lot of fun to build. Took my time painting it and making sure I got the details right and not go overboard with the weathering. The only thing I hated about it was applying the decals, very tedious but came out pretty great in the end. I did buy some mods for it off of Shapeways such as the original radar dish and see through grill vents. I added in the damage marks on the top and bottom of the model which were missing on the parts to get some better accuracy.Overall, this was a great kit, especially with the lighting kit installed which is optional. The kit was easy to build, just be careful with the side greeblie parts as they're a little fragile and can get caught on things and snap off. These were the only parts I felt the need to glue just to be safe.

Excellent model kit!
I loved building this kit. This was my first ever Bandai Star Wars kit and needless to say I had a blast doing so. Wasn't as complicated as I thought and was surprised that the snap design looks so tight and hid the seams so well. I was torn between buying this kit and the force awakens kit since TFA kit had a bit more figures (standing figures), but reading that this had the correct greebling swayed me for this kit instead. One thing to note, this kit makes it seem like you only get Rey, Chewie and BB-8 but you actually get a sitting Finn and Han solo as well. To bring out the most of this kit I used the Bandai Star Wars 1/144 Scale Millennium Falcon (Force Awakening)83 points emission USB power supply correspondence LED wiring kit and the Paragrafix Bandai Millennium Falcon photo-etching [parallel import goods] and it was worth the extra time and money. One thing to note is the lighting kit is very intricate and I had to compromise on a few lights to get it to fit. Also, you will need to do a lot of modifications to make the kit fit, so keep that in mind. However, like I mentioned before, the end result is worth the extra work. I also used a few shapeways items and it made the model that much better. Highly recommend for beginner and intermediate modelers but even worth it for the more experienced.

Great model. Could be tedious with the pipes. Wish the original radar dish came with it
This is an excellent representation of the Falcon as featured in the Force Awakens and the Last Jedi. The radar dish is square instead of the iconic round one (I take it the original was scrapped thanks to Lando in Return of the Jedi). Overall, the kit is very easy to put together. You may need to paint this however. The whole build is a beige-like white color making it look like a flying white paper plate. Still, very fun model to build. Shouldn't take you more than 2-3 hours to put together

Another excellent Bandai Star Wars model!
This has to be the best Millennium Falcon kit at this scale on the market. This kit is easy to assemble. With some paint and waterslide decals you can make a great Millennium Falcon replica for your shelf. The more work you put into it, the better it will look. It's molded in a nice off white color. If you wanted a basic look you could probably just apply the water slide decals. It comes with the square dish from The Last Jedi. I wanted the round dish so, I had one 3D printed. (The round dish in the pictures is after market). It does come with the option of landing gear and boarding ramp up or down. You can find after market lighting kits here on Amazon if you want to add lights. All and all this is a fantastic kit. Easy to assemble and looks excellent with a paint job. Highly recommend to any Star Wars fans that enjoy scale modeling!

A ‘corrected’ version of the (Force Awakens) Millenium Falcon.
Identical to the previous 1/144 The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon kit with some minor differences. The (Last Jedi) port mandible section outer detail strip is corrected from the previous (Force Awakens) kit that was mirrored from the starboard side. The standing/seated figures of Han Solo and Finn have been eliminated in place of Rey, Chewbacca and BB8. The rectangular base is changed from an undulating sand dune texture to a slightly rocky surface.

It's a Bandai kit.
All of the Bandai model kits are snap together and are fairly easy to build. They are chock full of details and accuracy but the finishing of the model is where it becomes an art form. Almost anyone can build them but painting and weathering is the difficult part to make it look as movie accurate as possible. A lot of videos are available on the tube for that but Bandai does a great job recreating the movie accurate models in all scales. That is why they are priced on the high side and the larger the scale, the more detail, the more they cost.

Perfect model and the only budget millennium falcon model you should consider purchasing
Beautiful model with the most impressive quality. Very easy to follow building instructions, although very time consuming. Taking your time is definitely recommend, it took me 6 hours to complete building+painting but it’s completely worth every minute and every penny.

The Last Jedi Millennium Falcon
This is a very good model Bandai has ever put for the 1/144 scale, the details are very close to the screen model I recommend this for anyone thinking about buying it.
