Best 140$ I could have spent. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for AV1 encoding/decoding, no DolbyVision support for encoding *by J***H on July 23, 2026* I use this solely for encoding/decoding AV1 and it's great for that. 4k bluray re-encodes usually go ~30 fps and 1080p ones ~90-100 fps using Handbrake. Works with unRAID, Plex, Handbrake, etc. and can be passed through to and used by multiple Docker containers simultaneously with no issue. Note: Hardware encoding AV1 (at least with this card, at this time) DOES NOT support DolbyVision metadata. Encodes will still work and regular HDR metadata will be carried over by Handbrake, but any DolbyVision metadata will be lost. Software encoding AV1 is the only option I have to keep it and that is _painfully_ slow. Supposedly modern Apple CPUs can do HW encoding w/ AV1 and keep DolbyVision metadata, but I have no way to verify that.
