This is a good, not great lighter. I have several similar lighters, 3-4 jets, but those have a mechanism where when you press (actually slide) the button, it opens the lid AND then lights the torches. This one you have to first, manually open the lid, then you can light it. Two steps.I am also having a time adjusting the flame so it doesn't stutter or get too small to use. High is not very high, around a 1 1/2-2" flame, the others can get to 3" from the lighter to the tip of the flame.I do like the easy to see fill window, it is the best design of all the ones I own, which usually is a tiny window on one side, where you would need both glasses and a flashlight to see the fill level. This one is very visible and easy to read.

I got this through vine to review..This lighter has a good, strong feel to it. It feels like a quality item, it would make a nice gift. It was simple to add butane and it fired right up with little effort with a 'torch' like flame that you would expect. My only complaint and the reason for 4 * is that this does NOT come with any directions. I'm not sure how to adjust the flame - there is a +/- part at the bottom but I can't adjust with my finger; perhaps needs a coin or screwdriver. overall this works, but its strange to get this in a gift box with NO documentation of anything about it. Seems like an oversight.

I like the look of the lighter, but I found it a little difficult to use at first. In order to get it to ignite at the right time with the spark, I needed to depress the ignition slowly to let the gas out a bit first. However, I realized it was user error and I just needed to turn the flame up a bit. Now it lights up quickly and reliable. As the picture shows, you will need a long nozzle/adapter to be able to refill the lighter. I like how compact and powerful the lighter is. It fits nicely in a pocket and will stay lit even in high winds.

The media could not be loaded.  Attractive look. Performs well. While it looks good, the material isn't as hefty and is made of thin metals and metallic plastic. I do like the large window to view fuel level. For it's price point ($16 at review) it is a good value but not my favorite.

It got knocked off the desk, hit the floor and totally broke apart. I assumed it would last longer than 5 days!

Where was this back in my cigar days. This thing will get a Churchill fired up in no time. I never really liked using a punch, more a cutter kind of guy. But there are times you have to use the tools you have, and here is another nice feature of this lighter. Then there is the cigar rest on top of the lid.This lighter is really designed around the cigar person but it has other uses too.I really like the open view butane fuel window to know when you are running low. Speaking of low, this thing does suck down some gas, so if you are going to meet for cigars make sure it's topped off.The full power jets are a bit much, and the low setting loses a couple of the jets igniting. So you just have to find that Goldilocks zone that works for you.

Recently got into cigar smoking and needed a better lighter the cheap ones from the liquor store. This one feels and looks nice. It’s easy to fill and cigar punch at the bottom that works pretty good. Really like the quality and finish it has. Looks more expensive then what it sells for. The torch style flame is fantastic and lights up the cigars really well. Definitely recommend especially at the selling price. I pay almost the same as the sale price for the cheap disposable plastic torch style lighters.
