They are aquatic creatures of the crustacean family that have an incredible conservation capacity as they can be alive, but in a state of lethargy, for many years. It is called cryptobiosis. Jurassic animals WHAT ARE THE WATER DRAGONS? Aqua Dragons have three eyes and a long tail, these are tiny, funny and funny creatures that belong to the shellfish family. Their eggs can be kept in the salt for long periods and hatches again simply by putting them into water. Review: Great little 'pets', but need to follow instructions. - This is a great present for a child who wants a low maintenance 'pet'! The tank is tiny, and it is worth reading the advice online before set-up which was: use bottled water but not mineral water, keep somewhere above 17degrees, and near natural light if possible. (some of this is not in the pack instructions). It took about 4 days for us to see anything, and they looked like black specks (not white dots) so we'd given up hope. but we kept aerating, and took the lid off each day for an hour or two. Didn't feed until I was sure they'd hatched. Now we have a hundred or so, 2 and half weeks later. Couldn't see them without a magnifying glass for the first week. We feed every second day, they're fascinating creatures and the kids love them.

**Q: How long do you keep them for and how do you dispose? Surely you can't keep them in the same water forever?**
A: We haven't changed the water but just topped up as it evaporated. As long as you don't overfeed the water seems to stay clear and doesn't smell. We still have ours six months later. They are living creatures, so shouldn't be "disposed" of but CARED for.

**Q: the water is quite cloudy, what should I do**
A: Don't feed them for a few days until it clears.

**Q: How soon do you have to start them once you have received them. Have just got mine and wanted to give to my dsughter for her birthday in March?**
A: I think that will be fine as they are dormant when dry.

**Q: How long do they live for?**
A: A few months if they're healthy

Didn’t come in the packaging as advertised. Looks underwhelming and a little small and cheap to give as a gift which is what I was planning. Little disappointed . Same product as advertised though and probably more environmentally friendly avoiding all the packaging
