## Questions & Answers

**Q: .I can not find the cabin filter on my 2015 f250 with the 6.7 diesel engine. where is it?**
A: I believe that since 2010 Ford stopped making the F250/350 with cabin filters. I have a 2013 F350 and thought I’d change the filter, but after looking on the internet I found that there is no cabin filter. I called three Ford dealerships and they couldn’t even tell me if my truck had a cabin filter or not. Hope this helps solve your question.

**Q: This would fit 2016 f250 6.7 diesel?**
A: Yes this fits all 6.7 diesels. Also you will need the foam air cleaner, Motorcraft FA1909 Air Filter Assembly. Note that the FA 1909 does not need to be changed each time the FA 1902 filter is replaced.

**Q: Where does the filter go? I looked under the dash owners manual didn’t specify where to put it**
A: For the 11 F250 the filter cabin is under the hood on the left side. It’s house in a black casing

**Q: Why are you guys advertising that this will fit a 2017 F350 with a 6.7 liter powerstroke? The 2017 air filters are oval shaped.**
A: The 2011 - 2016 6.7l Powerstroke uses the Motorcraft FA-1902 air filter. 2017 and on uses the Motorcraft FA-1927 air filter.
The 2011 - 2016 also has a pre filter, Motorcraft FA-1909. The 2017 and on does not.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BETTER THAN AFTERMARKET. READ
*by J***S on March 2, 2016*

GoOD filter, good flow. All the bs hype is just that my 2013 6.7 power stroke is deleted and tuned. I RUN this stock filter because my buddy has the same truck with same pipe and tune, except it's a 2012 and he paid 100$ plus for a aftermarket air filter the reusable kind k&n . I RUN a truck fleet and we have a filter flow booth we use to clean and check filter flow. So. The configuration of the stock and k&n are just alike. Except the material they are made of are different. We placed them both in the filter booth the stock filter was brand new, the k&n was used but we cleaned it and applied the oil perfectly as directions indicated. We know what were doing been mechanicing and racing for years. Ok, so, the stock filter flowed 623.7 cfm at 71 degrees with no pleat movement through a 3 inch diameter tube. The k&n filter flowed 593.7 cfm at 71 degrees with no pleat movement through a 3 inch diameter tube. Any higher cfm and both filters started to collect there pleats together. So, the next test was longevity, we installed the stock filter in his truck for 5000 miles of the same driving course to from work about 72 miles a day. We removed it and it flowed at 594.7 we installed the k&n did the same milage, removed it and it flowed at 398.6, so there you go. We also both noticed that larger particals were released by the stock filter and trapped in the lower part of the air box. The k&n being oiled collected everything. This is what contributed to the k&n being more restricted at 5000 miles. The truck also had an check engine light that I will explain in a minute. No bs just the plain fact. We both also noticed that when we inspected the air duct on the clean air side it was spotless after we removed the stock filter. The inspection of the clean air side of the duct after removing the k&n revealed an oily residue, black in color that coated the air duct and the mass air flow sensor. This also explains his engine light after running the k&n. We do not promote anyones air filters or work for Ford or anything, we just wanted to see if the hype was bs. We think so now. We also noticed that upon cleaning the k&n for the second time, the material the filter was made of had started to fray and could be pulled loose with our fingernails. So that's out test. The k&n flowed less when clean than the OEM filter and way less after 5000 miles than the OEM filter. I absolutely believe the oil is good at collecting particals but is a major problem also. If you don't absolutely clean every bit of the oil and dirt out of the k&n filter the cleaner disolves the oil and grime letting it flow through the filter and get sucked into the intake after reoiling it and reinstalling it. I heard my whole life growing up that k&n was the best high flowing filter made and it protected your engine fine. I absolutely disagree. I hear guys saying they get better mpg and more power. There's absolutely no way. I think there wishful thinking comes from how much they paid for the filter.
