The yarn is beautifully soft too which is important to me because I’m a sensitive soul when it comes to fabric. Using the 4mm makes the shawl more fluid, for a scarf or other garment you’d most likely need a 3mm so if a small hook doesn’t work for you, this might not be for you. If you pull from the centre it can knot towards the very centre, when I pull from the outside no knots, but I like centre first so I tend towards that and just deal with the knots. Overall I love this yarn, and despite the high price tag it’s a substantial amount of yarn. Oh and the invisible joins they reference are very clever, you get a sort of fluffy bit rather than a knot which when crocheted into the garment is really almost imperceptible.
