Box Contains 1x 509B Treble Recorder Review: Aulos Symphony Treble Recorder - Aulos 509B Treble Recorder. Plays as it should. Nice tone and easy to hold. Ok, it's not a several hundred pounds professional instrument, but it is a good instrument. If you have to make a choice, you could do a lot worse than this Aulos Symphony Series recorder. Review: Nice sound, doesn't clog, good price - I bought this for my wife who plays. She is a grade 6 player and her old Yamaha was playing flat and clogging (it did last 15 years). I'd looked into getting a high quality replacement and the obvious choices in ABS were Yamaha and Aulos. After some thought we settled on Aulos and it has now been a couple weeks since purchase and not disappointed. Assembly is 3 piece as standard, with cleaning pipe and chord book, and storage is a leather bag, approx 30cm. When played, this is comfortable for my wife albeit my hands are just too big for this (XL in glove size if that helps). It plays the ranges nicely, no flat spots. Clogging is not an issue at all. Only cleared it once between songs, whereas the Yamaha would need to be cleared 4-5 times and always fail on that really critical note! Overall, given the pricing and the stylings too, you cannot go wrong with this. It plays well and in the hands of someone who can play, really lovely music can be heard. ## Features - Fingering Style: Baroque/English Classic Fingering ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00MY82MGG | | Best Sellers Rank | 16,798 in Musical Instruments & DJ ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments & DJ ) 76 in Recorders (Musical Instruments & DJ) | | Brand | Aulos | | Brand Name | Aulos | | Colour | Dark Brown | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 102 Reviews | | Finish Type | Polished | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04582202780547 | | Included Components | Leatherette bag, cleaning rod, joint grease, fingering chart | | Instrument Key | F | | Instrument key | F | | Item Dimensions | 30.5 x 5.4 x 5.4 centimetres | | Item Weight | 272 g | | Item weight | 272 g | | Manufacturer | Aulos | | Manufacturer Part Number | 509B | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | 509B | | Model Number | 509 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Set Name | Treble | | Sound Profile | Balanced, Bright and Rich | | Style | Single | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Aulos - **Colour:** Dark Brown - **Instrument key:** F - **Material:** Plastic - **Style:** Single ## Images ![509B "Symphony" Series Treble Recorder - Ideal for Advancing & Enthusicatic Students - Classic Dark Brown/Ivory ABS Construction - Baroque Classic Fingering. - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/613kDUypFcL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Aulos Symphony Treble Recorder *by S***8 on 27 February 2026* Aulos 509B Treble Recorder.
