Since I discovered nurge, I love them. They are super easy to use, and the best part for me is the large, heavy duty plastic screw which is much easier for me to tighten. The small metal ones hurt my fingers when I tighten it down enough, this one does not. Holds my fabric as tight as I want, and if it gets loose while working, just give it a little tug and it tightens right up again. I have bought several of these, because they will hold the entire working surface of many of my patterns and I don't have to move the hoop at all until I am finished.
