Russell Hobbs 20445 Westminster Kettle, 1.7 Litre, Red, 1.7 liters

I love this kettle. It has an easy hold handle and is easy to pour with. The lid is good and allows you to fill or empty the kettle easily. It does boil quickly and relatively quietly. I have only had it a few days but so far I am very pleased with this kettle and would recommend.

Bought to replace a RH kettle that lasted years but the lid gave up finally. This arrived before the due date, and so far am absolutely delighted. The water measure is much better placed on the side of the kettle and not under the handle as the old one was. It's also quieter and quicker. Would definitely recommend!

It heats fast. It's reliable. It's my second one in a row.Don't hit the plastic off/on lever too hard - that is why I'm replacing my old one.Good ketttle.

Love this kettle! Spent a lot of time reading reviews for kettles and after purchasing a flimsy plastic one that wobbled on it's base, we returned and then bought this one and it does the job perfectly. Does not wobbly, turns off in time so not to much steam in the kitchen, it is not particularly noisy and I love the size, it is small but wide so nicely compact and looks great. I also like the lid, which opens widely and looks nice with the metal bit in the middle. Colour is great too and there's no bad taste to the tea. Also like the switch on button. Would buy again.

Great kettle. Arrived early. Only thing I am annoyed with is that the photo in the description shows a different red. I expected the metallic looking red AS ADVERTISED, to match my toaster, not some standard red colour 🤨 I wouldn't have bought this kettle of I'd have known it was this colour .......EDIT 17TH NOVEMBER 2019, KETTLE NOW LEAKS......

Nice kettle. Quick boil and quiet. Power cable length is good. The 'on-off' lever has a delicate feel to it and is not the best design, it stick out like 'one big ear' and feel like it could be broken easily if enough care is not taken. Overall I am pleased with the kettle. As with most domestic kitchen products I alway have the sneaky suspicion they are designed by people who don't actually use them in everyday life.

Only had this kettle for a few months, but it boils quickly and quietly. Will do just 1 cup if required . easy to fill from tap with a button to release the lid.

I suffered the same problem that a lot of others have had! The switch on the kettle is rubbish! It can take several attempts to get the switch to engage! Even when in use the kettle can switch itself off! Contact with seller was excellent and a refund was swiftly paid. Unfortunately the seller seems to have a real problem with this item. Hope they can get recompensed by the manufacturer.
