Doesn't work, absolute waste of money. Connected with my phone to the built in 30 pin connector lead in my car. No sound whatsoever. Rubbish

This cable doesn’t work and is of poor quality.

I bought this to connect Amazon's Alexa Dot to my Yamaha stereo. Sadly it does not work. I have tried it on my philips alarm clock (which also has the old Apple 30 pin plug) and it also did not work.

As cables can be unpredictable I thought it would be worth adding a review on this. Worked well for me. I have the old style Apple connector as part of the audio system in my seven year old Honda Civic. Normally attached to an old Apple iTouch. But wanted to plug in my current android phone to play music from that and from BBC iPlayer Radio on the move. Using an audio jack from the phone seemed the cheapest option, and this cable did the job for me. Audio works fine through my car system, and I can control the volume via the phone and also via the car audio system. Only downside is that the car audio system repeatedly flashes an error message saying there is no device connected (as there is no actual Apple device attached). Not a major problem for me, but it might annoy some people if their audio display is constantly flashing that. Basically, well worth it for the low cost.

Ich habe mir der Adapter gekauft, da ich seit Defekt meines Ipods mein extra dafür gekauftes Soundsystem nicht mehr richtig nutzen konnte. Da ich kein Geld in einen "neuen" Ipod mit "altem" Anschluss investieren wollte, habe ich mich für diese Variante entschieden.Der Artikel wurde schnell geliefert und wies keinerlei optische bzw. Verarbeitungsmängel auf. Die Anschlüsse passten sehr gut und ließen sich problemlos zusammenstecken. Die Tonqualität ist sehr gut, es lassen sich keine Störgeräusche o.Ä. feststellen.

Kurz: Dieses Kabel funktioniert NICHT am Bose Sounddock.Der Stecker passt schon mechanisch kaum auf das Dock … man muss so stark drücken, dass man Angst hat, das Sounddock damit zu beschädigen. Es wird kein Audiosignal – Ton – übertragen.
