God of War Collection (Playstation Vita)

The first two God of War games in the palm of your hand, what more can you say! A must buy for any fan of this series and plays great on the vita (It made my 9hr flight to Orlando recently go extremely quickly). My only slight gripe is that in some parts of the game its necessary for the camera to zoom out to a wider view and the detail can be hard to see on the small Vita screen but this is a real nit-pick to be honest and doesn't happen often.For anybody new to this series God of War is a fantastic mix of combat, puzzles and story with some superb and memorable (and often rock hard!) boss fights. Catch up with these and the 3rd installment (that you can currently get the HD remaster for the PS4) before the long awaited 4th title comes out. You will not be disappointed!!

This is my first time playing the GoW series and I am very impressed. The gameplay is smooth and fluid. Using Kratos' blades to chain together combos is fun and there are lots of moves at your disposal. The world is detailed and varied, and some of the scenes are quite striking.The framerate is mostly good, but it can suffer from slowdown now and then. Cutscenes are compressed and old looking too. GoW on the vita is a little sloppy but it is still very fun, and for £20 it is, in my opinion, great value. Buy with confidence.

Quite a longtime fan of the God of War Series and still have faith in the PS Vita.This is basically a port, nothing more. Not a good port I must add.While the controls are down to the tee and done quite well considering the PS3 control has more buttons than the VIta they utilise the rear touch pad quite well although it can be annoyingly sensitive...There is considerable frame rate drops and blotchy resolution when a few things are happening on screen, now it's not a Vita issue as it handles many other games perfectly well such as Wipeout and Killzone. The game(s) feels watered down and compressed, definitely not a HD quality port, PS2 graphics at best.Another annoyance is that that are a lot of cut scenes which are quite poorly rendered in a smaller aspect ratio and are un-skippable, seems like the cheapest part of the development.Besides the annoyances everything's here that you expect but with a collection/remaster you would expect more, a cash in without a doubt on a below par product.

Couldn't get into the game didnt give me enough excitement

Bought as a present for my husband to play on his vita. and he absolutely loves it. Says its one of the best games he has played on his vita.

Excellent have played it on ps2 and ps3 but it is still brilliant on the vita bought for when i was on holiday and is definitly worth the money.
