Her clothes are being destroyed, but the labels are not! **Q: How do these prevent the marker from washing off and staining my clothes?** A: I use a permanent marker. The ink won't smear or stain after ink is dry. Ink and labels have lasted through dozens of wash and dry cycles. **Q: Will these work on crochet and knitted garments?** A: What you could try is to mark what you want on the label, iron the label on a piece of ribbon, then sew the piece of ribbon to the knitted garment. **Q: Can you remove them ?** A: Yes, I was able to remove them from clothes and water bottles. They were on school uniforms for about 2 years and water bottles that were ran through the dishwasher several times a week. The labels were awesome and stayed on through all the washing cycles. I had no issues when it was time to remove the labels, other than a small spot left on the clothing.
