Really pleased with this purchase. Review: Sturdy saw for rough outdoor work - It's a good and sturdy 7TPI rough saw for outdoor wood and lopping. It's not a fine-cut saw as others have pointed out, but it isn't meant to be. The handle is comfy. The only negative is that I could have done without packaging which, while sturdy and effective, left sticky-tape residue all up the blade which has been impossible to get off. I expect it will disappear naturally after a couple of weeks' sawing work. ## Features - Suitable for cutting all types of wood - Universal teething with hardpoint teeth for long-lasting sharpness - Handle with a comfortable grip and good sawing support ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000CSSY62 | | Best Sellers Rank | 13,708 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 22 in Handsaws | | Blade Length | 22 Inches | | Blade Material | High Speed Steel | | Blade Shape | Rectangular | | Blade material | High Speed Steel | | Brand | Bahco | | Colour | Multi-colour | | Country of Origin | Sweden | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,294 Reviews | | Cutting Angle | 90 Degrees | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 1 Years | | Global Trade Identification Number | 07311518034399 | | Handle Material | Plastic | | Included Components | SE22 PrizeCut™ Hardpoint Handsaw 550mm (22in) 7 TPI | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 28L x 18W x 28H centimetres | | Item Highlight | Hardpoint teeth for lasting sharpness | Smooth cutting performance | Comfortable handle | Suitable for all wood types | | Item Type Name | SE22 PrizeCut™ Hardpoint Handsaw 550mm (22in) 7 TPI | | Item Weight | 424 Grams | | Manufacturer | Bahco | | Model Number | NP-22-U7/8-HP | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Teeth | 154 | | Other Special Features of the Product | grams | | Part Number | NP-22-U7/8-HP | | Power source | Manual Powered | | Special feature | grams | | Specification Met | CE | | Speed | 2000 | | Surface Recommendation | Plastic,Wood | | Surface recommendation | Plastic,Wood | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Voltage | 28 Volts | | Warranty Type | limited warranty | ## Product Details - **Blade material:** High Speed Steel - **Brand:** Bahco - **Colour:** Multi-colour - **Power source:** Manual Powered - **Surface recommendation:** Plastic,Wood ## Images ![Bahco NP-22-U7/ 8-HP 22-inch Hardpoint Handsaw - Orange - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41-7ZpOkuUL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this better than the Bahco 144, 244 or Bahco Barracuder 22in saws?** A: These saws are the best I’ve used.I’m a joiner and these stay sharp for ever.they are not for fine cutting though but give a great cut.don’t hesitate buy one you will not be disappointed.only slight downside don’t get them wet because they will rust **Q: What's the tpi of this saw? is it 22?** A: the U7/8 means 7 teeth, 8 points to the inch, 22 inch blade length **Q: is it could at resawing if not please can you reccomend a affordable resawing handsaw, thanks** A: This is a good handsaw? **Q: Where are these made ?** A: Sweden. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good saw *by M***5 on 14 April 2026* Really good saw. Really pleased with this purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy saw for rough outdoor work *by N***R on 13 March 2025* It's a good and sturdy 7TPI rough saw for outdoor wood and lopping. This saw was far superior, I was working on decking and it started sharper for far longer. I have trusted Irwin for a long time and been happy in the past however it would buy Bahco from now on. And the cherry on the top is the snap on snap off blade guard. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bahco NP-22-U7/ 8-HP 22-inch Hardpoint Handsaw - Orange - Draper Venom Handsaw (350mm) | Second Fix Double Ground Hand Tool | High Carbon Steel Blade | TPR Soft Grip Handle | 80874 - UniBond No More Nails Original, Heavy-Duty Mounting Adhesive, No Nails Strong Glue for Wood, Ceramic, Metal & More, White instant Grab Adhesive, 1 x 234g Tube --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/54305394-bahco-np-22-u7-8-hp-22-inch-hardpoint-handsaw](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/54305394-bahco-np-22-u7-8-hp-22-inch-hardpoint-handsaw) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
