We do love our bar, though. **Q: This is a gift. Which 25 lb. olympic plates are recommended for this?** A: I would recommend 2” bumper plates for this bar. I use mine in the garage on concrete, the bumper plates prevent me from messing up the concrete when I lower it to the ground. **Q: Picture shows 24.61" front to back width and description says 25" between grip handles, is this accurate? I'm 6' & want a bar with enough room. Thanks** A: I am 6', 220lbs. Plenty of room. **Q: Does any hex bar come for stamdard weights? Please point me in the right direction.** A: I think I've seen them in the past, but unfortunately could not find on Amazon as of 7March2021. I tried a search for "hex bar for 1 inch plates" or trap bar for standard plates but nothing was available. You might want to look outside of Amazon. Good luck. ## Frequently Bought Together - CAP Barbell Olympic Trap Bar | Multiple Grip Options - CAP Barbell Rubber Olympic Bumper Plate | Multiple Options/Colors - CAP Barbell 2-Inch Olympic Bumper Plate Weight Set | 100-370 lbs | Multiple Options --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/544595700-cap-barbell-olympic-hex-trap-shrug-deadlift-bar-with-combo](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/544595700-cap-barbell-olympic-hex-trap-shrug-deadlift-bar-with-combo) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
