Review: Won't break like the cheaper two piece hammers. - I was sick of hammers breaking on me, the heads were fine just the neck of the hammer is the fail point, lots of cheaper hammers are two piece metal, wood or fiberglass. This is one piece forged steel so it will never break or bend with normal use. You know the old saying lads... You buy cheap you buy twice!!! This is well with the €45 and it will probably outlive my children's grandchildren ha! Easily the best of the midrange hammers. Full body construction. Love the quality and the features. Some of the paint comes off with use but it give it a nice patina look.

A: Yes, the hammer I purchased has the eagle logo. I’m a finish carpenter & I’ve been using estwing hammers for years. I bought this one to hang in my shop and use around the house. I’m extremely pleased with it.

A: You can't go wrong with either size handle. The estwing hammer you are looking at is a very nice hammer, I have both long and short handle and love them both. I use short handle one for finish work and use long handle for framing. Either size your husband will be happy with.

This is one piece forged steel so it will never break or bend with normal use. You know the old saying lads... You buy cheap you buy twice!!!
