The hooks are very poor quality metal attached to the plastic handles. I expected the metal to go the whole way with the plastic overlaying them. The plastic handle is very small and quite thin. I have tried a few with different yarn and the yarn snags or splits nearly every time. I can think of nothing positive to say about them.
