Ideal for warm, frost-free climates, it flourishes in full sun with well-draining soil and moderate watering. Growing up to 20 feet, it’s perfect for patios and gardens, offering year-round ornamental beauty, air purification, and multiple fruit harvests from just four starter plants. ## Description Giant Granadilla Passion Fruit is a vigorous tropical climbing vine valued for broad green leaves, stout four-angled stems, showy white to pink-purple flowers with purple-banded filaments, and very large oblong fruit. New stems extend rapidly and use tendrils to attach to trellises, fences, arbors, and other sturdy supports, This robust species is notably larger in foliage, stem structure, and fruit than common passion fruit selections. Training young shoots across a support helps distribute the canopy and gives developing stems room to expand. The combination of foliage, unusual flowers, climbing growth, and developing fruit makes Giant Granadilla a distinctive choice for edible landscapes and tropical garden settings.Giant Granadilla performs best in a warm location with abundant sunlight, regular moisture, and freely draining soil. Water deeply when the upper soil begins to dry, then allow excess moisture to drain away rather than leaving the root zone saturated. Provide a sturdy support early because established vines can produce long, vigorous stems that need space to spread. Guide new shoots across the available structure and selectively remove weak, crowded, or spent growth to keep the canopy manageable. Seasonal growth can be rapid during warm weather, so check soil moisture regularly and adjust watering as conditions change. With adequate root space, bright light, dependable moisture, and routine training, Giant Granadilla develops into a substantial flowering and fruiting vine. ## Features - Physical characteristics: Giant Granadilla Passion Fruit develops broad green leaves, stout four-angled stems, showy white to pink-purple flowers with purple-banded filaments, and very large oblong fruit. Vigorous stems climb by tendrils and form a leafy canopy when trained across a strong support. This robust species is larger in foliage, stem structure, and fruit than common passion fruit selections. - Sunlight: Grow Giant Granadilla in full sun with several hours of direct light each day. Bright exposure supports vigorous vine growth, flowering, and fruit development. Young starter plants can be transitioned gradually into stronger sunlight after planting. Position the mature vine where its upper growth receives abundant light and a sturdy support provides room for stems to spread. - Watering: Water Giant Granadilla regularly while it is establishing and during active growth. Apply water deeply enough to moisten the developing root zone, then allow excess moisture to drain away. Check the soil frequently during warm weather because vigorous vines can use moisture quickly. Maintain consistent moisture without leaving the soil saturated or allowing it to remain dry for extended periods. - Soil: Plant Giant Granadilla in loose, well-drained soil that retains useful moisture while allowing excess water to move away from the root zone. A slightly acidic to near-neutral growing environment is suitable. Avoid compacted locations that remain saturated after watering. Give the roots soil volume and keep the planting area open enough for water to penetrate evenly around the root system. - Growth & maintenance: Provide Giant Granadilla with a sturdy trellis, fence, arbor, or similar support and guide young stems as they lengthen. Tendrils attach as the vine develops, allowing new shoots to spread across the structure. Remove weak, crowded, or spent stems as needed to keep the canopy manageable and maintain room for fresh growth. Check supports periodically as the vine becomes larger. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CBN26H73 | | Best Sellers Rank | #412,489 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #1,999 in Fruit Plants & Seeds | | Brand Name | Wekiva Foliage | | Color | 4 Plants | | Customer Reviews | 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars (74) | | Expected Blooming Period | Spring | | Expected Plant Height | 20 feet | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Outdoor | | Item Type Name | Passion Fruit Plant | | Item Weight | 16 ounces | | Manufacturer | Wekiva Foliage | | Moisture Needs | Moderate Watering | | Number of Items | 4 | | Number of Pieces | 4 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Air Purification | | Soil Type | Sandy Soil | | Style Name | Giant Granadilla | | Sunlight Exposure | Full Sun | | UPC | 705514863461 | | Unit Count | 4 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Wekiva Foliage - **Color:** 4 Plants - **Expected Blooming Period:** Spring - **Expected Plant Height:** 20 feet - **Indoor/Outdoor Usage:** Outdoor - **Item Weight:** 16 ounces - **Soil Type:** Sandy Soil - **Special Feature:** Air Purification - **Sunlight Exposure:** Full Sun - **Unit Count:** 4 Count ## Images ![Giant Granadilla Passion Fruit Plant - 4Pack - 2 Inch Pot - Passiflora Quadrangularis - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/719sHXJ8KnL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Number Of Items** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Giant Granadilla Passion Fruit Plant - 4 Live Starter Plants - Edible Fruit Bearing Vine for The Patio and Garden - Passion Fruit Possum Purple Price Includes Four (4) Plants - Granadilla Passion Fruit Vine Live Starter Plant - Passiflora quadrangularis by Wellspring Gardens - Climbing Vine with Aromatic Fruit & Stunning Flowers - Ideal for Outdoor & Garden Landscaping --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/548185257-giant-granadilla-passion-fruit-plant-4pack-2-inch-pot-passiflora](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/548185257-giant-granadilla-passion-fruit-plant-4pack-2-inch-pot-passiflora) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
