Does everything that they say it will
I have owned Juicers before but this one takes some beating. Using it as a juicer the pulp (collected in a separate external container) came out literally bone dry and the juice in the juice container was virtually free of any sediment. It pulps the food slowly which means that it doesn't destroy enzymes and natural good things in the fruit, which some other notable products will do by juicing faster - too fast! The result is that slow juicing gets you MORE juice - period! At first I was a little concerned about the feeding tube being too small but all you have to do is to prepare the food by cutting it into small pieces to fit and honestly how long does that take? Seconds? You do not have to do this with celery stalks and small carrots et. they can go straight in.Cleaning is really easy its by far the simplest juicer that I have had to clean.I tried using the Crushing processor and am still a little foxed about how its supposed to work. Its obvious for things like soaked nuts, dates, pasta et. where one container is all you need but certain fruits and veg as used in their Tomato Salsa recipe has confused me and is not very clear in the instructions. Crushing nuts and dates does not require using the two collection containers only the pulp container but their Salsa recipe also juices and what nozzle should you use???I am not going to make any comment about the recipe book which comes with this product its really there to get you started. There are some very good juicing books that you can look at e.g "The Funky Fresh Juice Book" by Jason Vale. One word of advice. This product has a 5-stage pressure adjustment nozzle which helps to get even more juice. When you juice make sure that the nozzle is not set to 'Zero' otherwise it will pop off during juicing, it needs to be set to the "1" setting at least to stay firmly locked to the machine. All in all a very happy investment I have no regrets. And they do give you a twenty year guarantee too so this machine is well worth buying. I went for the Chrome look it looks great in the kitchen.

Vitality4Life Oscar Neo masticating juicer
As most people, we had had numerous blenders and juicers over the years, and as most failed sooner or later for one reason or another, the time came to look for something new. After intense research and reading various user reviews, I was hooked on the idea of a masticating juicer. It was a tough decision to choose among the various makes, models and prices. The choice of the Neo 1000 in Burgundy seems to have been 'just what the doctor ordered'. After a month, it may be early days yet, but the quality of the machine appears very good, assembly is simple and after a few times, cleaning became a quick routine. Most importantly, the juice making is a treat because, after the necessary preparation - peeling and slicing to size which would fit the chute, and the relatively slow squeezing and low-noise process, what you get is unadulterated liquid fruit & veg. The pulp is quite dry and there is less of it than we expected. The liquid does not separate as in the case of the 'conventional' high-speed juicers, but is consistent throughout the container, glass or jug and lasts at least a day - so far we have not managed to make it last longer because we drink it up, with great enjoyment. What makes us the happiest is that our 2 year old granddaughter has eagerly taken up participation in the morning ritual of juice-making in all kinds of (fruit an veg) mixes and regularly drinks (at least) 2 bottles a day. Her mum, our daughter, is particularly delighted and grateful because the juice making is an additional time together, she can vary the input combinations and she knows what her child is taking in, including healthy veg which has not yet been accepted in its 'original' form, raw or cooked. We are yet to experiment with in making (almond) milk, butters, deserts, pasta, but, in view of the performance so far and given time, I expect this unit will re-affirm that we made the right choice all-around, including justifying the relatively high cost of this juicer.

juices taste wonderfully intense due to cold press method
During a period of ill health where my stomach shut down, I made veg juices every day to get the maximum amount of micronutrients and electrolytes into my system. I'm much better now. I like to think this juicer played a part in this, but I will never know. I certainly think of it fondly, even though I only use it once a week now.Dismantling it and washing it is not too fiddly once you get the hang of it. I managed to do it every day even though I was ill, but then I was strongly motivated to look after it because it was looking after me.

What a great machine....
I'm really delighted with my Oscar juicer. It's powerful and quiet and its quite therapeutic listening to it churn and crunch away while you feed the chute with various vegetables and fruits. There are many parts to it which I thought would be a nuisance to wash, but its easy to assemble and disassemble and all the parts are quick and easy to wash. The chute is small so you do have to chop your fruit to fit, but you soon get used to this and the quality of the juice it produces is really good.My older kids gave embraced the juicer as well and we are ploughing through fruit and vegetables at an alarming rate. The recipe book is more of a guideline really but it's been fun experimenting with our own combinations. I have yet to try out the other functions such as making pasta and butter nut, but looking forward to giving that a go.

Use it everyday
Very good piece of equipment. Good looking, functional, easy to clean and use. Great for greens, such as kale, celery, leaves. But, carrots seem to not get squashed enough, slightly bitty and apples turn to mush. Maybe you need several diffent types of these kind of slow crushers to be able to juice everything well. The good thing about this machine is that everything stays cool, crushing is slow so enzymes don't get destroyed and everylast drop comes through. It is a strong, handsome and robust machine which is easy and quick to assemble and to clean. Great for everyday juicing. Highly recommend this juicer.
