They are portable, stable and can hold several spools all you need is a piece of scrap conduit and having multiple placement holes is great I personally have had 6 different spools of wire running at the same time. Beats the heck out of using your ladder as a rack or even making one yourself. This is the second set I have bought the other set was so good someone decided they needed it more then me so I got to buy another set.
