Plus they don’t appear to be easily wetted by solder, not clear why this is. This means it’s very difficult to solder on the provided connectors, and almost impossible to be sure the joint is reliable because even if the solder adheres to the connector metal it’s not certain it’s adhering to the PCB. I think this is some sort of manufacturing fault as I have soldered literally hundreds of connectors onto PCBs over the last decade and never had this problem before.
