This product replaced the one that cost a lot more $$ than this one. It does have a smaller "footprint" than the one replaced. It also has a much larger bottle so laying on your back under a sink with the edge of the cabinet digging into your back while trying to hold a bottle and screw it on will not be near as often as it used to be. (I have great respect for plumbers who are also contortionists). The pump does not feel cheap when using it. I am a tightwad to the nth degree and I was rather skeptical that this would be as sturdy as it is.
