It needs a bigger hole than it states and is not a conventional wire in. Also only 2 rings worked had a game getting a refund **Q: is this a plug in** A: No it has to be wired. **Q: Does this item come with a 240v plug fitting or is it hardwire connection?** A: No plug fitted as this is rated to high for standard plug type connection . Has to be wired to cooker outlet It does come with app. 1 mtr. of cable fitted Ready to connect to outlet. After initially installing and testing each ring for a few seconds it took almost an hour for the hob to completely cool down and the H from each ring to disappear.
