It all comes pretty much ready to go. As other reviews had mentioned, there appeared to be an oily substance on the tank after you unwrap it, but if you read the directions included, it states that is perfectly normal, and just to take a cloth or a tissue to wipe it up. The charger comes with it, so start with charging it first, you can fill the tank while it charges. One thing to be aware, the directions (and the carrying case it comes with) all state to keep the device upright at all times (even while in-use) which quite honestly causes some limitations, but as long as you do it right, it typically isn't a make-or-break deal. The longest part of the setup is to allow the device to charge (and once you fill the tank you're supposed to wait a certain amount of time) Use: It comes with a few different attachment options for varying effects. They all have their pluses/minuses to them. I have yet to attempt to use the device outdoors. I suspect it should work as long as it isn't a windy day. For being a handheld device, I was able to cause my entire 900 sq foot basement to be like a bar in the 80s in about 10 minutes of on/off use for the above picture. Added bonus, it did not set off any fire alarms thankfully. The device heats up and is ready to operate in a matter of seconds after powering on, which is a huge perk in comparison to some of the larger fog machines. Construction: The device is handheld and in the photos it does look like it may be constructed of cheap plastic, but to the contrary, it holds up quite nice, and feels sturdy. Just be aware of where you touch when the device is running as the coils do heat up. Under normal operation though, your hand shouldn't be there anyway. Overall: This should be relatively adequate if you're limited on power, or time, or need something for products or just to add a little bit of an effect to a photograph or a scene of some sort. The only drawback is the fact the device needs to remain upright, which can make storage interesting, but the case it comes in can stand upright and keep the device in the proper orientation, as long as you have something to kind of lean it on. Review: Smal, but pack a LOT! - Honestly, I was originally looking for one of those regular square fog machines, that are common to see around, when I bumped into this unique and interesting model, and decided to go for it instead. The regular fog machines are often bulky, heavy, and hard to store due to their size. This one however fit in the hand, is lightweight and even comes with it’s own storage/transportation hard shell style case. Of course, my first thought was that such a small machine like this, probably cannot provide as much fog as a regular machine. I was wrong. As soon as I pressed the GO button, it started to make a LOT of fog. So much actually that I was worried it will trigger my smoke detector, so I stopped it quickly. Oh, and also included in the case, are some very useful accessories, which will allow for different way to diffuse the smoke, so that could be handy if I need to use the fog into some pictures or videos scenarios that require different smoke background. The device comes with a box of six 12ml refill bottles. Each one is good to refill the whole tank, and one tank gives you quite a long time of fog as well. However, now I still will have to see if it will take regular fog machine liquid, or only something special designed for this device. πŸ€” ## Features - Remote Control: Enjoy the convenience of controlling the smoke output from a distance. LENSGO Smoke B fog machine with 60 ml Fluid included wireless remote allows you to adjust the smoke intensity and duration effortlessly, perfect for stage performances or enhancing the ambiance of any event - Wide Range of Applications: This smoke machine is designed for various purposes. Use it to add dramatic effects to concerts, create an enchanting atmosphere at weddings, bring spookiness to Halloween gatherings, or use it for efficient space disinfection when needed - Impressive Smoke Output: Producing a substantial amount of smoke, Charging for 2 hours create smoke continuously for 18 minutes when fully charged, the mini fogger can cover an area of 20 cubic meters in just one minute, ensuring a mesmerizing and visually striking effect that captivates your audience - Portable and Easy to Use: Designed with convenience in mind, the handheld fog machine is lightweight and easy to carry, making it ideal for outdoor events and on-the-go setups. Simply fill the smoke fluid, power it on, and let the magic unfold - Safe and Reliable: LENSGO smoke machine made with high-quality materials and features built-in safety features, providing you with a worry-free experience. Is this normal or did I get a used one?** A: This is normal. Product is not used In order to ensure zero wait for starting up, our manufacturer will test the each fog machine with a small amount of oil before leaving the factory. This led to some oil being accidentally left behind. **Q: How long does the fog machine take to charge** A: Our hand-held fog machine is fully charged for 2 hours, covers 20 cubic meters in 1 minute, and can be used continuously for 18 minutes. Stop spraying for 2 seconds after 3 minutes of continuous use **Q: Can open and use it immediately when received it?** A: Our fogger can be used to boot, no other complex setup steps are required, but for shipping Safe, the new battery is low, only about 20% of the battery when shipped, need to be recharged before use **Q: WILL THE SMOKE SET OFF THE SMOKE ALARM？** A: Our Smoke machine didn’t trigger the Smoke alarm after many test. But do not rule out the use of other places will trigger the Smoke alarm sensor, so use as far as possible away from the smoke alarm places **Q: WHY DOES THE DRYICE EFFECT LEAVE A LAYER OF OIL ON THE SURFACE?** A: Because the dry ice effect outputs a high concentration of aerosols, the dissipation mechanism is gradual depositon, so it will return to the liquid state. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had some time to actually test it out. *by U***4 on January 7, 2024* Unboxing/Setup: This was pretty straight-forward. I can no longer get it to work, it turns on for all of a half second before turning off. I purchased this for photography, D&D, and Halloween, and it made its debut on Halloween. After testing it earlier in the day, I was thrilled, and it was a great portable fogger for some of the costume components I did. However, a few days late,r after charging it back up for the next dnd game, I turned it on and... dead. I can't get it to stay on. I've now taken some time to read forums, investigate, try to clean and take it apart, but it still won't stay on. I want this to be 5 stars. It would be... but it broke after one night of use for an hour or so... I would swap this to 5 stars immediately I could get a new one. But I was outside the return window... now I sit here, about to play my next D&D game, thinking "dang it would be nice to have this work" but it doesn't, so I have to write this review. Maybe it'll be seen and I can be sent a new one, but... It's a shame for how much this cost that I missed my opportunity to return the faulty product. ## Frequently Bought Together - LENSGO Smoke B Smoke Machine, 40W Fog Machine with Remote Control Portable Handheld Forgger for Photography, Outdoor Events, Parties, Stage Effects, Halloween, Disinfection or Weddings - LENSGO Fog Machine Fluid 72ml (6pcs) for Smoke S Smoke B Smoke S MINI Hand-held Smoke Machine Fog Oil - LENSGO Fog Machine, Hand Held Smoke Machine with Remote Control,Portable Mini Fogger Indoor Outdoor Events for Photography Halloween,Party,Stage,Effects, Misty,Weddings Chirstmas Foger Gift --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/558956623-lensgo-smoke-b-smoke-machine-40w-fog-machine-with-remote](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/558956623-lensgo-smoke-b-smoke-machine-40w-fog-machine-with-remote) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
