Review: Works great for me. No leaks, no drips, no runs. - It works. What more can I say? Yes, I did have it leak out all the water one day. The rest of the time (6 months) it works fine. Even in sub-freezing weather. I have two bottles, so I give the rabbit a fresh one in the morning that is not frozen, and take the frozen one inside to thaw until the next morning. If it's above freezing all day I don't have to put out a fresh one until the next day. The other one is only 16 oz. so it's not quite enough to last for a full 24 hours, but it's good enough. This one goes down a little more than half by the next morning. I have two really big ones, 64 oz. bottles, but I still have to trade them out every day in freezing weather, so it really doesn't matter. The rabbit has 10 babies to feed, so she drinks more now than usual. The little "rubber ducky" is cute, but I can't really see it when there's water in it, so it really doesn't add anything to its ease of use.

**Q: does it really leak?**
A: Unless these are set up just perfectly, they seem to all leak, and even if they don't to begin with, if your water is hard, just a bit of calcium deposits can allow them to leak. If the rabbits mess with them and get them off plumb, they will drip. I wound up using bowls meant for parrot cages that screw tightly onto the cage wire. They usually can't tip those.

**Q: This bottle drips CONSTANTLY. What is your solution to this? Returning it would cost as much as the item!**
A: It appears to be a defect in the bottle, we did return the item and there was no cost that I had to pay because I purchased it at Amazon.com. I went online completed the return form and it was picked up by UPS. I was given full credit for my purchase.

**Q: My drips constantly too, emptying is a matter of hours and soaking the cage. Anyone know how to correct this?**
A: Please note that in order to work properly without any leakage, the bottle needs to be filled completely to the top, then flipped over for about 30 seconds for a vacuum to form. If the bottle is not filled completely, it will not work as it should. **Q: Is there a bottle out there that honestly doesn't leak**
A: My bottle has never leaked.  Used it for a recovering Chipmunk.  I would recommend this product and the Vendor.

It really doesn't deserve any stars at all. Bought 2, and got 2 very leaky, dribbling water bottles. Very unreliable. The more water that is in them , the faster they empty, and this is NOT over the water line. There is not really a suitable replacement here. Amazon continues to tempt me to buy more of them, and they have been deemed worthless long before now. A properly filled bottle may or may not last until the following day. Constantly dripping water makes a mess of bedding, litter, food, and toys and that makes them not worth your money. Kaytee make GLASS water bottles that are rainfall priced and do not leak, but these are not of that quality at all. I would not recommend them to anyone...well, maybe as a plant waterer!
