But the glasses themselves worked just fine. There were other people there with no prep so I got to be the hero handing out glasses to people. I had plenty. Keep in mind if you see a full solar eclipse like I did, you can take the glasses off at totality. 99% eclipse is kinda boring but 100% totality is mind blowing. As soon as the sun starts showing again, put the glasses back on to view. Or you can do like I did and just leave. I had already been there several hours waiting for totality, so 99% eclipse didn't interest me at all. I won a staring contest with the sun. Did you? I didn't think so. These glasses helped me win. Spain 2026. That's the next one. If you're going try to be in the center of totality. It lasts the longest there. It's worth the extra drive.
