Komodo Ball Python Starter Kit

Until I have my issue resolved, and receive a replacement tank, I will be leaving a bad review.The tank arrived in a cardboard box no bigger than the tank itself, with all the tank components thrown inside. Upon opening the product, I found glass everywhere. I'm sure it is a result of poor packaging and poor handling, which is why I will be receiving a replacement. The tank itself is a very good size, and from the looks of it (by sifting through the pieces of glass) all the filter and heating components look good too. Hopefully my issue will be resolved soon and I can change my review for a better one!UPDATE: I received my replacement tank and the packaging was much better. I was a little disappointed that there were no instructions on how to put the tank together, but after a bit of thinking we had it all set up. The Nano Heater is brilliant and kicks in once the heat bulb is turned off at night, making sure the water stays a steady temperature. The filter is good for the size of the tank, although I do believe it is an illogical product for this tank - there is a mesh on one side of the tank covering the middle third, meaning you can only fill up the tank a third of the way with water. This is standard for a terrapin. However, the water level that the filter needs in order to work is higher than where the mesh begins. Meaning you need to put the filter in diagonally in order to get it to sit in the water level.Also included was a ramp, which at first we thought was too flimsy but our terrapin loves it and it is fairly sturdy. What I am still unhappy about is the UV strip bulb. It consists of the bulb and the actual fitting for the bulb. With the one provided from our first and second order, we could get neither to work. We tested out both bulbs, both fitted units, more than one plug socket, and even changed the fuse in the fitted unit. So, our terrapin is still without a UV bulb.The neatness of the tank package is beneficial for first-time terrapin owners, as it has everything that is needed. Whether it works or not is another matter. Our heat bulb blew after about a month of use, so we will have to stock up on bulbs.From the hassle that we've had I wouldn't buy this product again. It's a lovely little starter kit but the hassle involved in getting it all to work is just too much.

Kept an emperor scorpion in this from hatchling to juvenile before moving it to a bigger enclosure

not the best as you cant put a thermostat in bit after drilling a hole in the lid it was ok till my new one came

been told its a lovely tank but the side vent is hazardous too a gecko and the tank is not suitable for geckos, a breeder told us this on there website

ideal tank for scorpion, the heater has to go on the vent on the side to get passed 20 for heat

a terrible product. my first leopard gecko and this arrived with no instructions of how to set up, as well as some cracked glass (possibly through poorly packaged transit)and the front doors did not fit the frame properly. after initial excitement of owning a leopard gecko i was thoroughly underwhelmed due to the shoddy nature of this product. a complete waste of money. am now completely fed up (after a month) and am re-housing the gecko as crickets regularly escape through the vast amount of holes left due to poor design. worst buy from amazon to date!

Not for me but for my daughter in law. She was extremely pleased with tank. Very good value for money

Perfect for our new desert scorpion. Lid feels quite secure and it is deep enough to enable us to put a good depth of sand in to allow 'Stig' to burrow to his/her??? hearts content.
