Unfortunately they're not labeled so exact grit size is unknown. **Q: Do you need to oil these tools?** A: For the money they are the set of chisels I own, It's not necessary to oil them. **Q: How do you use the honing guide?** A: The honing guide hold the chisel at the correct angle for honing. Just clamp it on the chisel and roll on over a sharpening stone to sharpen.
