If the mode doesn’t change, ensure the ACC wire is connected to an ignition-triggered circuit and parking mode is enabled on the menu. **Q: Camera stops unexpectedly during parking mode** A: This usually occurs if the battery reaches low-voltage cutoff or the parking timer ends. **Q: Camera keeps recording after turning off the engine** A: Confirm the ACC wire is correctly connected to an accessory circuit (not constant power). **Q: How to install the dash cam hardwire kit?** A: Connect the red wire to a constant power source using a fuse tap. Connect the yellow wire to a circuit that only has power when the ignition is on (ACC). Securely ground the black wire to an unpainted metal point. **Q: Does hardwire cable have low voltage protection function?** A: Yes, the hardwire kit features built-in low-voltage protection. It automatically cuts power to the dash cam when your vehicle's battery drops to 11.8V (for 12V systems) or 24.8V (for 24V systems), preventing battery drain. ## Frequently Bought Together - VIOFO HK4 Hardwire Kit with 8pcs Full Set Circuit Fuse Tap, Type-C Port, for A329 series/A229 series/A119Mini2/A139Pro/WM1/T130 Dash Cam - VIOFO A229 Pro 4K HDR Dash Cam, Dual STARVIS 2 IMX678 IMX675, 4K+2K Front and Rear Car Camera, 2 Channel with HDR, Voice Control, 5GHz WiFi GPS, Night Vision 2.0, 24H Parking Mode, Support 512GB Max - VIOFO 256GB Industrial Grade microSD Card, U3 A2 V30 High Speed Memory Card with Adapter, Support Ultra HD 4K Video Recording --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/562459147-viofo-hk4-hardwire-kit-with-8pcs-full-set-circuit-fuse](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/562459147-viofo-hk4-hardwire-kit-with-8pcs-full-set-circuit-fuse) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
