This particluar piece is original art, not a print. It was languishing in this awful cornflower blue frame that was ridiculously heavy. I ordered a new mat & this frame, and voila! A beautiful, updated work of art. These frames are incredibly light-weight, which for my house with its plaster walls, is super helpful. The plexiglass comes covered on both sides to protect it from being scratched at all. When you peel back that covering, it's really satisfying. The plexiglass is so clear and clean. The brackets that close up the frame are great because they're easy to open and close, making assembly simple. You could easily swap out the contents of the frame as much as you'd like, unlike those frames that just have the little metal tabs that bend to hold the backing on. I love the gold color, I think it looks beautiful. Swapping the mat & the frame changed the whole look of this piece for the better. I also feel like the price point is super reasonable, especially given the dramatic difference the frame makes.
