Savic Mickey 2xl Navy Blue Mice And Dwarf Hamster Cage 80 X 50 X 38 Cm

Absolutely love this cage for our 5 new baby mice. Loads of space to add toys and enrichment and bar spacing is nearly perfect for little escape artists...just need to watch and probably cable tie the top of the door like we have, but definitely one of the better cage options on the market for mice at the moment and good value for money. We haven't used the shelf as not good for little rodent feet, but we've been able to fill the space that would have taken with more appropriate toys instead. First base arrived with a corner broken, but seller was quick to reply to all messages and sent a replacement really fast.

I ordered this cage as a last resort for a large Syrian hamster cage... most on the market are shockingly too small for hamsters, but this is the recommended size for a Syrian.... I do NOT recommend the wire platform though as this can cause bumble foot, so I have threw it away! The bottle is next to useless, as soon as you put water into it and put it in the holder... it falls out! So have threw this away too, I also got sent a load of tunnels and cage tunnel blocks... but there is nothing for then to go on, which is fine (I didn’t want a cage with a load of tiny tunnels.) peanut, is however very happy in his cage, the door is massive so provides easy access to the cage. Really deep base also. His ball goes into the cage through the door so he can easily come out as he cannot climb out as he is so small, and he freaks out if you try to pick him up at the minute.Great cage, has its flaws, like all cages a5 the minute do, but worth the size!

This has got to be about the best wire cage on the market,it has a huge drop down door on the front which makes it easier to get your hamster out and it has very narrow bar spacing so it's perfect for both Syrian and dwarf hamsters.At 80 cm long it isn't Too Big and not too small.It just fits in nicely in your home without taking up a lot of space and is well worth the money.It is a bit pricey Yes, but it will last you for many years.It is well worth it...I highly recommend this cage over the Hamster Heaven... As that cage is so diddly with all those tubes to assemble.This cage is just like the Hamster Heaven but with narrower bar spacing and no tubes or penthouse, and it also has the big front drop down door just like the Hamster Heaven

Excellent size cage for a dwarf hamster, lots of room, and the bars are nicely spaced, so he can’t get out, however the door closure is clunky and there are gaps, unless you are very careful.The bottle leaked water constantly. The little tubes he liked but would not be any good for a bigger hamster. The pod is fine, but unless you put a ladder up to it, you will need to put it on the lower area, or the hamster will not be able to reach to get inside.

Good well made cage, bar spacing is perfect for dwarf hams, it's a good size for most too & not too high which can present problems for hams with some other cages, the big door is a huge bonus.The wire shelf however is not suitable for hamsters at all & shouldn't be used, not a problem for me as I never use accessories or shelves that come with cages but it is unfortunate as many people may buy the cage not realising the shelf could be dangerous & possibly result in bumblefoot if used.

Don't buy it not fit for a pet to live in, I had one it killed my hamster :( Wired shelf is not good to walk on can cause problems with their feet and their legs fall through the bars. My hamster got his leg traped on the shelf he lost a lot of blood went into shock, the vet tried to save him :'(

I'm sorry but it really annoys me when they say it's "specifically for dwarf hamsters" because even tho they're small doesn't mean they deserve less space than a normal hamster should. Also, this cage is far too small for any rodent, let alone mice and hamsters. There is such a thing as a too-small cage, but there is no such thing as a too big cage. This cage would be great if it was made a bit bigger, so I give it two stars. No hate, just advice.

Despite the first 2 cages we ordered through Amazon being damaged, the 3rd cage was delivered in one piece! Fantastic cage with plenty of room for our 3 mice to run about in. Easy to take apart for cleaning and meets Animal Charity requirements in terms of size (as a lot of pet shop cages are too small!). We've only had one incident of one of our mice escaping but think this is due to our daughter not shutting cage door properly! Our mice seem very happy in this cage and am pleased with the recommendations of other Amazon buyers of this product.
